      Approval of loan was quick; however, I had an appointment, and it still took 1 hour and 15 minutes to close, the loan, while I had a Lyft driver waiting. I'm thinking since I had an appointment and no other customers were present, it shouldn't take this long for processing. Also, when I was making the appointment, I was told to bring proof of income and an ID with picture. While present for processing the loan, I was asked for 4 Personal References to include name, address, and phone number. I didn't have these avsailable by memory because I don't use a cell phone and didn't know this information was going to be needed. From memory, I had to search for 4 people that I had that information for : > (

      I was told you're approved for $5000 instead of the $8000 request. I agreed, the following day before going to sign, I got another call that the amount was reduced to $3000 if I still wanted it by Shantel the rep. I turned it down. I am not that desperate. Beware of bait and switch. I'm mad because they had ran my credit. Awful people.

      Ryan Schubert was very helpful with getting the loan. He kept me informed what was going on with the application. He gave me option on my loan and explained everything to me. When we came into sign the papers he was very professional.

      Service is awful. 3 pm appointment and an hour and a half later I'm still sitting here waiting. 🤬 then finally after the paperwork is done and she tells me she's going to go print the check, that takes another 15-20 minutes. Ridiculous.

      Mariner finance refuses to take responsibility for not updating customers account info. Instead they feel its a good practice to continue to try to charge a monthly payment to a closed bank account, causing the account to go late to charge outrageous fees and have thier customers be forced to only make payments in person. When calling today the man I spoke with decided to laugh at me while expressing the concerns regarding payment. When asking for a supervisor, I was put on the phone with someone that could care less. Telling me to mail a money order as it only cost 49 cents is ridiculous this day in age. It is clear this company is only after 1 thing, taking more money from hard working people trying to pay on time. I have proof that they did not even attempt to with drawl from the correct bank account . When confronted they say they can't see the account number that they tried to draft a payment from... all lies! I told many people about the positive experience I had when opening this loan, well it has all changed now and will be sure to share this horrible experience with everyone that will listen. Mariner Finance will not get any more from me and this loan will be closed by the end of the week.

      Applied for a 4,600 dollar loan which was the offer I recieved. Get a call saying I was approved for 15,000 dollar loan and needed to pay off my car. My car has less then nine payments so I said no thank you. A week and half later get a call for a loan for 3,000 not the 4,000 I was first offered but ok. Told to bring my id into the office which I did and completed the process. Driving home I receive a call from the customer service rep telling me I was suppose to bring a copy of my mortgage statement. Never in my conversations with this customer rep did she mention bring in my mortgage statement. I was already approved check in hand. Why now do you need my mortgage statement. You can did see on my credit report I'm current. Makes me question this company
