  Haggling is there profession! Make sure you research the year and information of your item that you are pawning. Great items too buy pre-used and or new.

  I had a good laugh just walking in the door. These guys watch pawn stars obviously. Their prices match their address. Insanely expensive for the smallest of items. Don't go here, unless you like getting taken

  Most if not all negative comments about this business are two or more years old! I don't know about then but I've been a loyal customer for a year and have had five star satisfaction every time! It's a lovely family business, and they look out for their customers. Today they offered me more money than I was asking for a loan and that's the first time that's ever happened to me in a pawn shop. I refused the extra money and they even said I could change my mind before I repay them, and come back and get the extra money if I need it! Above and beyond customer service! Also all my items have been returned to me in perfect condition. Don't waste your time somewhere else, this family business will give you a fair deal and is willing to work with you. Please go check them out!

  Lee is a Jedi. If he can't help you he can forward you to Mercedes at a different yet nearby location whom is equally caring and helpful. This was my first experience with a pawn shop. I feel "pawn shop " is derogatory as related to my personal experience. I would associate this with community care. To end. Knowledgeable, good people!!!!!!

  I don't deal in pawn shops very often because I prefer to by new, but I thought I would give them a try since I'm a mom returning back to school and my money is limited. I was very pleased with the service I received from the workers. I also received a deal that I could not refuse. I will visit them again. I left a very satisfied customer. Thank you very much, my kids were satisfied as well.

  This is the best pawn shop ever!!! I went in one day looking for a drill. The employee came out from behind the counter to help me find exactly what I was looking for. The Dewalt drill I bought originally retailed for 179.00 I got it for 90.00 it was basically brand new. So the next day I was so Impressed with the prices and service. I went back the next day and bought another set drill and impact, again basically brand new. The price I paid for was 60.00 which retails for 159.00 in the store. I also got another 100.00 set they let me put on layaway with 10.00 down. Hands down he best service I have ever received at a pawn shop!!! I will definitely return. All these other not so good reviews are from people that you clearly couldn't make happy if you were to give them an item for free... Lol!!! Don't let the bad reviews deter you from shopping here!!!   I may give them four stars after my next visit. The three stars is from one visit. They gave me a $600 Lenovo laptop for $250 on layaway with $50 down. Marked it down $49 without even being asked to! The unit is like new. This week I will be taking items to sell and will adjust my star score accordingly. Thanks guys!

  We always stop by pawn shops when we travel, and we were delighted to wander into Magazine Pawn. The guys in there know their customers by name, and their jewelry pricing was extremely reasonable. Buy your gold and diamonds here at a steep discount.

  Well, I had to visit the mall, mostly to get my cafe du monde official beignets (Shorter lines than the one near Jackson square). It is an odd mall with its twists and turns, but I can see it being very accomodating for cruisers just docking looking to grab some goods before boarding again. Most of the external area is run down or abandoned and honestly would not want to stroll around after hours as it may not be too safe. I'd say if you need your fix of NO swag, daiquris, or you are a fiend when it comes to malls, this is the place for you. Honestly though if you are staying downtown/French quarter, I'd avoid this as there is nothing really to see!
