I thought talking to a human being would help. I thought a trained bank teller could help me. I was wrong. I went in to ask for help with my account and was told to call the toll-free number. I was referred to my card and told to call that number. I said I did call that number. All he did was repeat that information and ignore everything else I said. Don’t go to this branch for any help.

Trash branch. Imagine banking with a company, giving them your money, paying annual fees and still being unable to rely on basic services. Frequent ATM issues, mix of competent and incompetent employees. Just because banking is transitioning online doesn't mean your physical branches have to be so awful.

      Response from the owner

This definitely isn't the sentiment we aim for. While we can't make up for previous experiences, we've doc'd this review as feedback for our leadership's eyes. Your voice is heard. ^AJS

👎🏽lacking CustomerCare. Teller was rude, disrespectful, and vitrolic. Worst banking experience ever. Was considering opening an account--wouldn't think of it now. Manager sounds polite but her staff needs to learn manners and how to execute their job w/o asking customers to do it for them. Will likely write a letter to their corporate offices next to make sure this doesn't happen again.

      Response from the owner

We'll never get a second chance to make a great first impression and for that we apologize, Joseph. So that we can shed a light on this experience, we encourage you to give us a ring at 1.800.655.2265 or reach out to us via direct message on Twitter (@AskCapitalOne). In the meantime, we're documenting this sentiment for our Leadership's review. Thanks. ^SM

Just because y'all have parades doesn't mean you have to close. People still need to cash checks. So rude. Like does staying open until regular business really hurt a banks business? Update: just because mobile deposit and atm deposit is available doesn’t mean we’re guaranteed cash that day. You’re a manager you should know that.

      Response from the owner

Hey there, thanks for sharing feedback with us. Don't forget you can still make deposits via the ATM as well as with mobile deposit 24/7. Thanks. ^AB

It’s a Big bank that doesn’t care about you! Going there today to close my account. They have held onto a deposit of mine for a solid week now. Small businesses don’t matter to them. They will screw you over in a second and laugh in your face! I should have known better than to open an account with them! Take your money somewhere else!

Bank closes at 4:00pm... I guess this is where they get the phrase 'must be bankers hours'. The normal 4pm closure time and the system failure this afternoon left me an unhappy customer. A major bank unable to process transactions the day before Thanksgiving is unacceptable. Aside from the banks organization, they have friendly staff with decent customer service. Happy Thanksgiving Cap!

The Branch Manager Kimberly Gibson is awesome! I had a mishap, but Mrs. Gibson went beyond the call of duty to make it right. She communicated with me via email and by phone call and made sure that I was taken care of with professional service. All the best to Mrs. Gibson and staff for job well done! Keep up the good work! TDJ

      Response from the owner

We've heard that Mrs. Gibson is known around town for her smooth banking moves and pedal to the metal approach to helping our customers. Thanks for confirming that the rumors must be true, Troy. ^SM

Visited this Capital One branch at noon on 3/14/16 to speak with an Account Representative, or whatever the misnomer is for this particular group of incompetent "workers". Was met with about 5 people waiting, while the 4 workers sat around a table enjoying snacks, small talk, and overall disregard for waiting customers. This scene continued for about 30 minutes until one bank employee called the first of five. She stated she had been there for nearly an hour! Two of the remaining customers confronted a teller to speak with a manager. The tellers, as a whole, were very friendly and immediately acquiesced to the two customers' request. Obviously cannot attribute that statement to the motley group of derelicts that inhabited the opposing cubicles. Avoid this place like the plague.

      Response from the owner

That is certainly not the experience we want you to have when visiting us. Your feedback is always welcomed, and will be forwarded to our branch leaders.

Most unhelpful people ever they want to put you off to do everything on the Internet might as well do mobile banking. They stole my check's last week and I'm having a hard time calling the main office to get my money back Next up is to get the police I guess

Hours are horrible! I've had great service with the staff but the St.. Charles location near delachaise, closed their drive thru and opened another drive thru capital one on St. Charles and Napoleon .. now that has been shut down. A lot of wasted money and the customers get screwed with the left overs. Very disappointed

      Response from the owner

These decisions are never easy ones to make & we definitely understand the impact they have on our customers. Feel free to hit us up @ the 'Chat Now' button on the Contact Us' page so we can give you the 4-1-1 on digital options like mobile deposit to make banking on your schedule the status quo. ^NW
