  Ryan was very patient with all of my questions and ran through multiple options with me. He was very prompt with following up and making sure we understood each step of the refinance process. Nicole was also great when she guided us through the final steps. A professional team and would work with them again when the opportunity arises.

  Here is the truth about Lund Mortgage: They are incredibly knowledgeable in what they do and you should trust them if you are buying a home (especially your first). Matt Oliver earned our business because during our first call, I asked Matt what is the difference between them and others, why should we pick Lund. Other companies sounded gimmicky and said things like “we have the lowest rates and BEST customer service.” He flat out told me “Well, it is a mortgage and there are plenty of mortgage companies. If you want to shop and or deal with an app, then go ahead. I think customer service and trust goes a long way, so the only thing I can do is assure you is that I will do the best I can and we usually do a great job.” That no BS answer told me everything I needed to know. We went in there a little excited with many questions and Matt Oliver took his time to give us answers to all of them. When we were anxious, tried to speed up parts of the process, or were thinking of doing something they wouldn’t recommend, Matt would candidly shoot us straight and give us solid advice. The only negative thing about the whole process was they were occasionally hard to get ahold of. By that, I mean response within 24 hours - max. Which is understandable given the rates and the amount of customers flooding in. By no means was any of our process delayed or done wrong because of Lund, just a little patience was required on our end. We went into this process fully ready to “shop” for mortgages and blitz for the lowest rate. In the end, Lund was good to us and got us an awesome rate off the bat. So we ultimately stuck with them all the way through and didn’t look elsewhere. Towards the tail end, Lisa Lund assisted us in a few matters. She was very polite, responsive, and knowledgeable as well. I can see why she runs the place. We plan to use Lund again if we start investing in other properties or need to refinance. 10/10 would recommend!

  Nothing but 1st Class all the way with Lund Mortgage! I’ve done at least 5 loans with Lund and the experience was outstanding every single time. They’ve helped be refinance a few homes and purchase another. They always get the best rates and they always handle the process smoothly and without any hiccups. I give them my highest recommendation! Don’t waste your time with any other mortgage company!

  I've used the Lund Mortgage Team twice now for refinancing my houses. They were very professional and were able to get me the best rates out there. It was a very smooth process both times and I was very impressed how quickly they are able to close the refinance loans. I will continue to use them in the future and recommend to my family and friends.

  Heard about this company on a news radio station and they sounded reputable. Applied online and Ryan Jones was assigned to me. I submitted all the required documents to refinance my current mortgage. Ryan was real friendly and helpful at first but after he completed the my loan request, he called me and gave me options over the phone. I asked him to give me the loan estimate. He said “when I get the competitors offer then he’ll provide me with the estimate”. Then he sent an email saying that he might have good news that will be beneficial for both of us but never responded. I spent the time to fill out the required documentation and he did not til this day provide me with a loan estimate. I felt something was sketchy at first and I wouldn’t give them my business. Also filing a complaint with the Arizona state attorney general.

  Used the Lund group twice on a personal purchase as well as a buyer representative. It was very underwhelming from the hype I heard about them from the reviews on Google to the ads on the radio. During the personal purchase it was very difficult to get a hold of ANYONE. I was working with Matt and he’d never get back to me about any of my questions. He mentioned he was slammed with the refinances he was over. We closed a few days late as well. Granted, the appraisal came back low so there had to be negotiations. On the other hand the appraisal was ordered very late in the game. For my friends’ purchase, the communication was much better. Ryan was able to get back to me as well the buyers, for the most part, at a decent response rate. We closed a day late, which was frustrating, but at the end of the day we closed. Moral of the story, I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone that wants to purchase a new home. Just go directly to the lender (United Wholesale Mortgage, Quicken Loans, etc.) Not sure how their refinance process is, but I sure hope it’s better than purchasing a home.

With that being said, our processing times are still faster than the average closing times that the mortgage industry is facing. We would like to respond to your recommendation for future clients to go directly to above mentioned lenders. As a broker, we in most cases have access to better pricing and programs that consumers would not have access to by going direct.   The Lund Mortgage Team was amazing at helping me obtain a mortgage loan for our very first home purchase! We were always kept up to date on the process and when we were able to close. Very fast closing process! We are so happy that we went to an independent broker instead of a Big Bank that treats you like a number!

  We worked with Nicole and Ryan, but I wouldn't be surprised if I got extremely good service from every employee here. They were always quick to get back to me when I had questions about my loan and saved us a ton of money in closing costs. When we called Lund, we were already working with another lender who was doing an absolutely terrible job and ultimately going to lose us a ton of money. From our first communication with Lund to closing it took 14 days. Absolutely incredible. They were able to hit our desired closing date and save us money. More importantly they will FIGHT for you. When the title company was dropping the ball in the 11th hour, Nicole was ruthless in keeping on top of them to get it done on time. Without her, it wouldn't have happened. Thank you Nicole and Ryan and the entire Lund team. We will definitely be using you guys again and referring all our friends.
