The Watertown branch is terrible. I went to get a medallion stamp which literally entails checking my ID and then stamping my form. The woman that could do it was in her office with no other customers but I was told that she did not have time. Then I was told she would be out for the next several weeks so basically I was screwed. You couldn’t give 2 minutes for good customer service?? Not the first issue I’ve had with them either.

I have continually had issues with my Night Deposits not being deposited into my account in a timely manner since November 12, 2021! Feb. 1, 2022 I dropped off a deposit in the night drop and it wasn't deposited until today, Feb.3, 2022 ! My deposits are always cash, so it has absolutely nothing to do with holds. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM at the Grove Ave. Branch in Racine 53403 I should not have to cringe everytime i open my LCU app to check my account and HOPE that they deposited my money! So tired of this!!! Coincidentally, the SAME THING happened in 2018, so FIX IT!

Awful customer service and they love to hide their poor service, long lines, lack of availability, lack of flexibility, and poor customer attention behind Covid-19 claims. You can’t even directly call your branch unless you have someone’s direct line. Make an appointment and maybe in 4 days you can get your question answered. Good luck if you need something or want access to your funds. They had 2 years to figure out a way to function reasonably with safe precautions just like everyone else has yet it takes 4 days to wait for one of their 30 minute appointments to get a document notarized which takes 5 minutes. All those tellers that use to be there to help in the lobby are just wasting time. Still only two tellers in the drive through despite no lobby hours and very few scheduled appointments. Everyone still got paid full wages even though we, the credit union members who employ them, got minimal to no services. CRAZY long lines in drive through and the drive through is soooo slow even when you make it up to the vac tube. Seems A LOT slower than even when they had a full lobby of people. Tried to refinance our $350k home of 10+ years of which landmark carried the loan, never a late payment, and our credit score over 740, but they couldn’t do a refi loan in less than 3months even though appraisal was done within 2 weeks of our application. Ended our relationship 2 months in and went with new company that got it done in 3weeks “ridiculous”. Then they put out this BS commercial that they made appointments and severely limited services all to “help” us their customers. What a bunch of disconnected jokers! Matt Jaeck, landmark personal and business customer for 15+ years, but not much longer. Need to transfer my business accounts, vehicle accounts, and personal accounts. Glad the house is in better hands at least. Whoever developed their Covid-19 response should be fired along with everyone that works there and has not been reporting the problems for customers. For the record I’ve appealed to my branch, branch manager, and upper management over the last 8 months with no response from anyone but the loan officer that couldn’t even manage a refi loan. Even he just said sorry, but that’s the best we can do with no offer to rectify our concerns.

I opened up custodian accounts for my kids when they were younger. The whole purpose of the account is (Minors) & unable to touch the account until I (meaning the person/guardian) who setup the account pass it on to them. Well when they merge this new system the account that SHOULD'VE been private is now giving access to them without my permission. I have spoke with 2ppl & asked for a head person at Landmark to contact me and I still haven't recieved a call. Now that all the money is gone they telling me oh we blocked it & now they can't see. We don't know how they got access to the account but no1 is doing anything about it.

I’ve been a long time member of landmark credit union. I’ve had many issues with customer service long hold times on the phone. tellers not paying attention and requesting passwords during times of transaction. Requested some overdraft fees be reversed with Jenny quality assurance manager in Brookfield and she refused due to “policy “which I find absurd and I will be looking for a new bank on my next off day for all three of my accounts.

Landmark Credit Union funded a vehicle purchase for me. My only contact with them was negative throughout the loan. 1. They continually checked on if I had insurance for the vehicle, it was a hassle. Even when I provided them with proof they once placed their own policy then billed me for it. 2. When I was closing the loan, they gave the wrong payoff information and the person on the phone provided the wrong wiring instructions. This delayed the transfer of the title to my buyer. 3. I had another account they opened for me that had a small balance. I forgot about it and today I get a letter from them telling me that for the past few months they have been assessing an “inactivity fee”, which depleted the account to zero. They of course didn’t send me any statements until all the money was gone. Won’t do business with them again.

      Response from the owner

Very, very, very poor customer service from the mortgage loan department. I have emailed three different loan officers in the past two weeks for information on new construction loans and information on the process of obtaining pre-approval for a conventional or VA Loan. The first has still not responded. The second referred me to a specialist on VA Loans. And that third person has also not called or responded to my email. Home loans are a time sensitive event so I am strongly considering changing to a more responsive financial institution...

Landmark financed an auto loan for me at the end of July. I'd received letters from them saying my insurance isn't up to date. I called them asking to clarify two weeks ago and I was assured that they had proof of insurance and everything was up to date. I get another letter in the mail. I call and they say they have proof of insurance but only from a week after I bought the car. Long story short, the dealership never sent my proof of insurance to them. It's like they just make things up as you call because every single person I've talked to has been rude and has had no idea what they were talking about.

Horrific place to do business with. Have had a loan and have been a solid "member" with this third rate institution for 5 years whereby they've enjoyed my interest payments each month. The payments, by the way, were always made on-time and not one was ever missed. But when a "member" reaches out for Covid-19 relief, they suddenly treat you as a "number" and forget they know you. I have witnessed and expect the big banks of the world to act in such a way but not the small town financial institutions who claim to have their member customers covered. I'm appalled by this attitude during this crisis and will work to pull my business away from these disgusting people immediately.

I agree with the other person. When they force insurance on your car, because of a mistake, look to spend around an almost %500 markup. An absolute joke. There should be a class action lawsuit against this outfit. And that is exactly what they are an outfit. Went to get a 2nd mortgage against my house with a 750 credit score. Was still waiting for any answer from Julie Gibson, after 2 months, what was going on. Paid $350 for an appraisal I never got, had to hire an attorney, to try and at least get my appraisal fee back, because they stopped replying to phone calls and emails. It would have been easier if I didn't live 950 miles away, but they knew that so why should they bother to follow up with anything or do their job. Landmark in years past used to be good, but now all they are out for is to take you for a ride and take your money.
