Elizabeth Terry1I've had so much difficulty just trying to make lake trust credit union credit card payments through the app. Sometimes the payment would go through, then sometimes it would be reversed and I wouldn't know. So, The last time I called and told the lady my problem and made a payment over the phone. That payment was also reversed. Then I went into the Grand River office and had great service by Fran who actually called the credit card people and found out it was a glitch in the system. Now, I'm waiting for a refund on the late fees that I should never have been charged. It's all very frustrating. Wow, just wow.

They helped us secure a loan to consolidate debt and we’re always responsive to questions we had and any help we needed. They treat you like they know exactly who you are and have been friends for years. I love this place and am so glad we switched from big old Bank of America.

Shannon McKee5I first found Lake Trust when financing my very first vehicle almost 4 years ago. I turned their way and I will never turn back. They always answers my questions to the best of their abilities, always polite and kind. When I was in a bit of a financial slump (even more so then as it was the holidays, ugh.) and they were incredibly understanding. They were able to help me through some things and always offered advice. They're just so easy to talk to, especially during such a vulnerable time, it put my other credit union to shame. I closed my other credit union account when they were less than willing to help me out and SHAMED me for financially struggling. Even my dad closed his account. I only bank through LTCU, and now my boyfriend does as well. They are the only lender I have used and continue to use going forward. Their kindness and compassion has gone a long way in my family.

Jessica Rae5Super friendly people here. They're always extremely helpful and setting up my account was painless. It's been nearly a year and they've never charged me hidden fees for anything, which I was worried about since every other bank I've used has done that a ton. Love this place, and will continue to use it as long as I can!

PAS1825My wife and I opened a business account at Lake Trust and we couldn't be happier. The people are very friendly and helpful. They do things a little less formal than regular banks and that makes it easier to do business with. The Howell branch doesn't even have a counter. The staff is located in self standing kiosks that you just walk up to. They also always have bottled water and cookies in their lobby. Love it!

Steve Betts5I researched four local credit unions and chose Lake Trust over the others because of the large amount of ATMs in my area and the number of branches they have compared to the others. The second time I was in the Brighton branch, the teller greeted me by my first name! Let's talk about attention to detail! I'm extremely satisfied so far.

Heather Andrick1I applied online to refinance my auto loan during the leap year car sale. Never did someone contact me regarding my application. I waited on hold for 30 minutes on my lunch break for no one to answer the phone multiple days in a row. When I contacted the call center to ask that someone please reach out to me, they told me I'd need to call to speak with a loan officer myself. A bad way to do business and a great way to lose loans.

Sean Leach1Did not want to give them a star at all, I waited on hold for 45 minutes and still could not get through. I had a customer here trying to get a payoff on his car and called multiple numbers for this bank and it's locations. There customer service is terrible and answering service is unbelievably slow and unfriendly. The customer says he will not be doing service with them in the future. I can see if you called at busy times or lunch but from 9am -9:45 on wait is un called for. I tried 5 different extensions including speak with a person or operator and nothing. Will be blasting you all.
