  Karen and Katie were FANTASTIC! They moved our loan application through at lightning speed, without sacrificing explainability or causing discomfort. I particularly liked how Katie sent frequent video updates for longer-form communiques (like explaining interest rates, closing cost changes, etc...). I highly recommend (and will definitely use them again)!

  Karen Card and her team at American Pacific Mortgage definitely live up to their great reviews! As a Realtor and appraiser, I’ve worked with many loan officers over the last few decades. Karen has always been one of my favorite mortgage experts and is the one we chose when purchasing our own home. Her team delivered what they promised, and she was great with keeping in contact throughout the process. She always responded very quickly and answered questions well. She also knows a lot about many different loan products. We just let her know what we were trying to accomplish, and she explained several scenarios that would get us there. Done deal.   Thank you Card Team for helping us close on time and with a good rate! The Card Team was recommended to us through our realtor and we're so happy we went through the house buying process with them. My husband and I realized through this house buying process that we're quite type A people when it comes to money matters and the Card Team was so on top of everything. Karen and Katie are kind, knowledgeable, and communicative. They answered our many questions and were always available to hop on a call to discuss further. We had a tight close deadline that they had no problem meeting whereas other big banks we reached out to were hesitant. They responded to emails quickly and were quick to resolve the small hiccups that occurred right before close. They even followed up with us after our house closed and gifted us super cute wine glasses!

  The Card Team relieved so much stress for us! As first time home buyers, we had so much to learn. Katie made several very helpful videos walking us through the process and breaking down the numbers. Karen and Katie worked to save us the most money and were quick and responsive. They worked with us to get us the best rate for our mortgage loan and timed the close of escrow to maximize savings. You can tell they truly care about helping the buyer understand the lending process. 10/10 highly recommend!!

  I wish my wife and I could properly express what an experience this has been for us. While Katie markets herself as a first time buying coach, and has been a great one; and Karen brings the wealth of experience of 30 years of lending, we could not have been more impressed how the combination has made a difference for us in this process. This purchase in Long Beach will be our 3rd home. We have experienced the lending process twice previously and can say with confidence we never received the support, guidance, and education in the past that we most recently did with The Card Team.   I cannot talk highly enough of The Card Team. I had my original loan with them when I bought the houseS. They contacted me to let me know interest rates were down and I would benefit from a refinance. It was the quickest refinance ever. They are super attentive, always answered my questions and are truly experts in this area. I will always go to them for any refinance or loans and refer everyone to their business. Truly spectacular.
