  Jim is the BEST to get the BEST deal for you. I should frame the rate that was offered for my refinance of a jumbo loan. Trust me, Midwest Equity offered a very very competitive rate as I've been monitoring the rates every day for about a year. I really enjoyed working with him throughout the process as he educates and guides you on what is RIGHT for you. I've learned a lot throughout the process. Jim is extremely knowledgeable and his high professionalism, positive attitude, patience to explain everything has been immaculate.   Jim Apressos is excellent. He was referred to me by a friend and I'm so glad because he was so easy to work with. Kept me updated every step of the way. He let me know what was going on and when. When he first looked over my paperwork to the day we were signing he was only a dollar off of what he had told me the new payment would be. I will use him over and over again. I would highly recommend that you give Jim a call if you thinking about refinancing or buying a house!

  I was searching for help in a possible refinance and while i got a lot of people contacting me, the direct/friendly and helpful sounding email I received from Jim prompted me to email him. Am I happy I did so. We started discussing options, found something that was just what I needed, got the paperwork going and it was the smoothest, quickest process I think I've gone through! Jim's friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism was very welcome and he stayed in contact through this very short process and we got it all done and I could not be any happier!   I sent Jim a request to look at our mortgage rate as the news of the fed making changes was emerging. He advised me to wait and when the rates were favorable we would act. Turns out the rates changed within a month and within a month of that we refinanced to save over 1/2 a point on our new loan- close to $800. It was an easy process with nothing out of pocket and a modest bump in the principle which I got back by skipping a month of payments. Great job, and clearly looked out for our interest by shopping for the best rate and program that worked for us. This is the 2nd time I have used Jim to lower my rate. Outstanding service!

  My sister referred Jim to me and I can’t express enough how pleasant it is to work with someone who makes a home loan feel like a walk in the park. Jim took care of everything!!! I didn’t have to do anything. He knows I work odd hours so Jim set up the appointment to have my loan notorized at my home so I wouldn’t have to stress going out of my way to sign papers.   We turned to Jim in desperation after a mortgage refinance we were working on through Wells Fargo fell through. We were 2 months in with a provisional approval when they suddenly asked for documents we could not provide. Jim was able to get our loan through in 1 week at a lower rate and with lower fee's. He even paid for our appraisal. He was very professional and responsive and answered all our questions. I sure wish we had found him sooner. Would have spared us a lot of time and stress.
