I am a newer customer. I selected this bank because it's a small home-town bank with the products I need. Everyone seemed friendly and locations are good. I was with another home-town bank, but they started sneaking in monthly service charges on my free checking account.

Absolute worst customer service from the Operations group of any bank we have ever dealt with. In my 45 years of banking I have never met or interacted with such obtuse people. No ability to reason on their own or process logic beyond their written procedures. Struggled with them for almost three months now to get my title to transfer from one state to another. Refuse to send me a copy of the title to get the transfer done. Have two other vehicles with two other banks and only had to request over the phone and got the copy without issue. Monica, the operations person at the bank indicated that she didn't care, she would not send a copy to us but would send it to the DMV office directly. I just had to get the address to the DMV office I wanted it sent to. Well, the individual offices don't receive mail, only the HQ office in the state capital. So, they are sending the original title to the DMV. Of course the DMV doesn't know me or where I live or my phone number. When I asked Monica how would they contact me to confirm they have received the title her response was, "well i don't know, they just will!" Oh, did I mention I had to send them $10.00 to send MT TITLE to the DVM? Neither of the other two banks required any such payment or caused us to go through such difficulty. I would give them a 0 star but the rating doesn't go that low. NEVER BANK HERE

I am so sorry for the difficulties you experienced Linda. Unfortunately, we are unable to find you in the Indiana First Bank database so we are not able to contact you as we do not have your information on hand. We do not have a Monica who works anywhere within our bank so we're unsure of who you may have spoken to. Please call our toll free number at 800-349-2814 so we can discuss the problems you experienced. Thank you

We love the friendly down home attitude of this bank. I like doing business with our neighbors.
