  I have known Phil for many years and worked with him on several of my personal home purchases. He has always remained a great friend and trusted businessman. He always aligns himself with the most professional and hardest working people. I recently closed on a new construction home purchase with Homestead and the process was extremely smooth. Deanna and Ann helped every step of the way with quick responses and solutions. In my opinion, Phil and his team are the best in the business. I wouldn’t work with any other team for a mortgage.

  We have used Phil Cunningham with Homestead Mortgage twice in the past two years. Once for a purchase and once for a refinance. Both closings were super easy, the best rates, and closed in about 30 days. Phil and his assistant Deanna were very responsive, gave us a list of what documents needed to upload to their secure website and what to expect from the underwriting process, even contacted the attorney to schedule our closing. We would highly recommend Phil for a no-pressure, streamlined mortgage process.

  Phil Cunningham made the process of securing a mortgage for our new home on Oak Island quite easy and stress free. Due to being out of state, we conducted all of our communications and transactions by telephone or electronically. In all of our interactions, Phil has been friendly, informative and thorough.   Phil was absolutely amazing to work with. After speaking with two different large corporations and getting nowhere we contacted Phil. He truly cared about us and went above and beyond for my family. He took the time to get to know us, our needs, and financial situation when other companies didn’t want to deal with self employment. We would not have been able to get our dream home without him. I only wish we would have talked to him first before wasting our time and energy with the corporate companies where we were just a number. We will definitely work with him again!

  I've dealt with a number of lenders over the years and none compares with Phil Cunningham. I got quotes from national firms, but having someone local who understands the nuances of coastal Carolina, and is willing to go the extra mile in terms of service made me glad we decided to work with Phil.
