  I am a former fortune 500 executive, author, professor, advisor to the secretary of interior, a governor and mayor of NYC, so I know something about customer service. Phil and his team are amazing. They go through incredible efforts to assist their clients and work to reduce the stress of their customers to make the process seamless. Phil returns every call, text and email on a timely basis. He addresses every need and concern as well as all the emotional trauma that goes with this process. He is an absolute gem to work with and I enthusiastically recommend him for your home financing needs. Phil and his team treated me like family. I have to say in all honesty, they far exceeded my expectations and their commitment to service excellence is second to none. What I also like is his honesty and integrity which are essential attributes in this business. As a former executive, Phil lives a philosophy that I strived to instill in all of my employees.   Working with the Homestead Funding team was exceptionally great!! Phil and Deanna were amazing. They were fast, efficient, very communicative, and extremely easy to reach. They kindly and quickly responded to my many questions, were always willing to take a call and moved the entire process along very quickly and with excellence. They actually made the experience fun and without anxiety… which was a refreshing and welcome change from our previous experience with a Bank of America. Most importantly, they were genuinely looking out for us as to the best price/product and ability to comfortably take on this debt. I felt like they were family.   Working with Homestead Funding Corp. and especially Phil Cunningham was the easy mortgage I every received. Phil was exceptionally helpful and led me through the whole process. Dealing with a local mortgage company was far better than trying to qualify for a mortgage by using a national call center.   Phil Cunningham made the entire mortgage process easier than I could have imagined. He was professional and helpful throughout. It's nice to have a real person to talk to when you have questions, and even better when it's it's same person each time. I cannot recommend Phil enough to anyone looking for a loan!

  I cannot say enough good things about Homestead and more specifically, Phil Cunningham! I have owned four different homes so far and Phil has been my preferred lender. He is prompt and quick to action when he needs to be but is never pushy. I feel that he always takes my interests to heart when trying to find the right options for me. Even after I had become a pro at buying new homes, Phil was still always willing to answer my questions. His team is awesome too! They helped make sure the underwriter had everything they needed and guided me through the endless electronic signing of documents. Phil worked great with my Realtor too. I have personally referred two friends to Phil and they have nothing but good things to say as well! Phil is just a wonderful person all around!
