  Poor customer service. Have to have multiple phone conversations to do small tasks like unblock purchases or do wire transfers. Unresponsive to feedback. Manager makes excuses. As soon as we are able we will be changing banking providers; we recommend anyone to avoid.

  RUN!! Look for another lender!!! If you are seeking to either refinance or applying for a loan please go with another lender. H‑E‑B CU was unable to help a veteran partner of 16 years with a perfect credit score to help out in refinancing a car loan. Took them a week for an answer to deny my request versus 2.5 seconds of me applying elsewhere to approve me. So disappointed with their customer service!!!

  95% of your employees live in San antonio why put the only bank institution at Shavano park TX. I used to think H.E.B was strategically incline to the need of customers and partners you are a bunch of dummy's.

  Even a simple problem takes several phone calls to fix with this bank. 6 weeks ago I requested a new debit card, my old one had a small crack but was still completely functional. When the card arrived it worked for about 24 hours and then always declined giving an error code that it was expired. 5 phone called later, and my call was finally escalated to someone who fixed whatever was wrong. This weekend I noticed a large fee attached to my account, I called today (monday) and waited on hold for 40 minutes to be told I reached a call center and they could take my information and request a call back. I did receive a call back this afternoon and was told that my $83 fee was for my debit card issued 6 weeks ago, never did I ask to expedite or rush my card. Never would I agree to paying $48 for shipping. This isn’t acceptable customer service and I have every right to expect better treatment.

  How can you have only one location in San Antonio and not one HEB location out of all 100+ does not have a bank or atm for the member's or HEB employees my boyfriend has worked for this company for 14 years and I have never hated a bank so much. Then to wait over 30 minutes on hold no one is your office to help and no one can ever answer the phone lines. I went and a lady name Nora always has helped us never even verified if I was on the account just took the phone and spoke to my boyfriend money was given and a cashier check of $2000.00 I went today and was turned away. This bank sucks. Worst service evee

  We have been members here for almost 6 years. 1st bad experience was not allowing us to get a loan with a good credit score on a car. Keep in mind we were putting $2000 down and were below loan value on a car that would have had a $200 payment, but they wanted us to go to a dealer. Then every time you transfer money it's $5 and it takes 8 days or for $8 it's 2 days. At Chase and every other bank I have ever dealt with transferring money is free. Then when we were done with them we called to close our account. "I'm sorry you have to send a written request is the only way to cancel your membership". So we sent the written request in and after 3 months they still haven't closed our account. SO, I thought I will just eat the fee and transfer my money to my bank. The fee's were double charged and the transfer request denied and billed my account $30 x 2 for 2 transfer attempts that were over my balance apparently. Worst credit union I have ever been a part of.

  Horrible bank they charge for everything, & nearly $50 for overdraft protection fee. I’ve never heard of that.

  They take too much for "maintenance fee" each month. I'm trying to save money not spend it! Closed my account, not a good spot to save money for any HEB partner.

  Heb Credit Union will take money out of your account without your permission even if you asked them for help. Had a problem in July got it straightened than in August 1 same problem again. Heb took it upon themselves to take money out of my account. Ask for supervisor all of a sudden he couldn't hear because his phone had static. I could hear him very well. Customer Service Management needs to be trained properly.Heb Credit Union is supposed to help their clients .Obviously heb c u doesn't care .Very disappointed Client. Alternative find another bank who takes care of customer needs.

  I deposited X amount of cash at a shared branch. Funds reflected correctly. Next day I receive a text stating my balance is 0.00. . Called HEB , they claimed the shared branch put a hold on my cash!! Wait? What?? I called HEB back at 4:47.... Dumb dumb who answers tells me no one is available I will receive a call back within 1 business day. Well, that doesn't help me now!!! I WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNT FIRST THING IN THE MORNING. Stay away from heb federal credit union.
