  A little over a year ago, we started to prepare to take over and purchase a business that we (my wife and I)have been managing and directing for 10 years. Eric Gurr and his team helped us with a rate study (state project) and advised us on decisions regarding the business purchase. We decided to use their services after being highly recommended by some close friends and family. In Aug 2020 (yes, lovely year to take over a business), we purchased the business and have had Gurr CPA help us with our accounting (payroll, business expenses, taxes, etc), the team has been amazing in their efforts and responsiveness to our new journey. Many phone calls, emails, texts, personal visits, to help guide us through this tough year (2020 and 1st year owning a business).   My experience with Gurr CPA is they have superior knowledge on tax rules and I didn't think that was possible. With their knowledge and action they were able to find $600 tax liability that we were paying that we didn't have to pay. It was shocking to discover that other CPAs had us paying $600 extra in taxes because they just didn't know. I'm grateful for Gurr CPA and their great work.

  Loved working with Eric Gurr. He was the biggest asset to me in starting my own business this year. Gurr saved me so much time and money.
