  We purchased a condo and were told to have a cashiers check for a certain amount, then at closing were told it should have been for $200.00 more because the real estate company had a $200.00 fee. First we knew of that. 😡😡 The next week we closed on a home we sold and got to the closing and the closing papers were incorrect, $2000.00 short of what our counter offer was to the buyer. The closing company and the buyers agent made excuses about how it happened, blaming my agent for the error. In the end it was the fault of the title company, the bank and the buyers agent. We are receiving the $2000.00 payment from both agents and the title company because it was their error. Too bad they didn’t own up to it at closing instead of trying to pass the blame to others. I would not use this title company again. As of today, February 15 we have still not received the $1000 they owe us. “It’s in the mail” again. First time wrong zip code. Then instead of sending overnight they supposedly mailed today via regular mail. Their error, yet no hurry or extra effort to treat their client like they cared. We received a check for $1000 today, Feb 19, two weeks after closing.
