Continue to have misunderstandings about basic transactions, at this location. Today I completed a deposit slip, in the back of my checks, to show exactly what I needed: money transferred from one account to the other. The deposit slip showed the dollar amount I wanted deposited into my checking, from the other account, that also included that account number. The transaction was processed backwards. Tellers don’t seem to be able to read a deposit slip, even for a simple transaction like this. Thank God I realized the accounts were processed backwards. Guess I need to do my banking in Hollister.

Not considerate it at all. Try to deposit a check with them and they call saying it could be fraudulent. Never stating that they hold your check for a week . Call up to bank no one cares. They call you back to state the check didn't clear when but when I call the bank the check came from they show me pictures of the amount withdrawn. So then your scared that someone at the bank stole your check. Just not professional. The banks wonder why no one trusts them anymore...... Just sad, heard they were a great bank. I would never recommend this bank to anyone! Beware especially if you moved or are from out of state.

      Response from the owner

Worst bank I’ve ever used. Arvest did not tell me they would hold two of my checks for a week 2 times in the span of a month. Tried to call the assistance number and was told there would be a 3 day hold because she had a customer as a teller who had a check bounce. Been with arvest for 3 years and have NEVER had any issues with my checks. The only issue I have is not having my money available in a timely manner and then to be told it’s because of fraudulent checks. Then to have the women on the phone scoff towards me and direct my call to a 45 minute queue.

      Response from the owner

We have 4 accounts at Arvest Bank, however we don't live within 4 state area , so I'm buying a older 5th wheel and borrowing $8900 , I have 814 credit score , I got over $200K in IRA , and Arvest Bank turned me down because they said I live out of the 4 state area that Arvest has banks in , and since its and RV I might pull it out of this 4 state area I was told by one of their loan managers, if it wasn't for my wife I would pull all our money out of Arvest Bank , so folks if you live out of 4 state area go to another Bank .! Don't waste your time !! If you live in the 4 state area of an Arvest Bank go to another Bank that will work with you !!

      Response from the owner

Paul we are sorry to hear you are unhappy. We'd like to connect you with a member of management to learn more about your experience. Could you please send your contact number to [email protected]? We appreciate the opportunity to serve you.

I have banked here for quite awhile, everyone here is friendly and helpful. I love popcorn Friday’s. I’ve never really had any problems banking here. I really love their hours, I’m not used to banks being open so late, it’s great that I don’t have to rush around to manage money as soon as I get off work.

      Response from the owner

Hi Rachael, we’re so happy that our associates at the Gretna Road branch have been friendly and helpful with all your banking needs, and that you enjoy the popcorn on Fridays. Thank you so much for your review, and we will be sure to pass it along to the branch.

Arvest Bank is phenomenal. They're the only bank in town that's open after 5PM. Anyone who works a regular job can't get to any bank on time after work except for Arvest. Dear Arvest, never change the reason I bank with ... stay open till 6!

      Response from the owner

rccpromotions Awesome! We're so happy to hear this. We're glad that you like the hours. Thank you for banking at Arvest and for leaving us a review!

Not a great bank at all one when you cannot open accounts or deposit checks easily. if you are from out of state and recently moved skip this place Once you do get their most basic account THEY DO NOT TAKE NATIONALLY ISSUED FORTUNE 500 organizations checks " We only take checks drafted on our accounts"!. Do your self a big favor and bank with a national brand not this farce of an outfit!! How about that a bank that doesn't even take ADP issued payroll checks. And to think I was mistreated by Bank of America and my Premier account!!

I have been banking with Arvest for many years. I just moved to Branson and went to this branch to take care or several things. I interacted with a few different employees and they were all very friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

ATM is usually broken. The operating hours are short and they run out of money orders and cashier's checks. The only banking business they are good at is taking your money.

I have banked here for years. They always greet you and smile. They are fast and efficient. They explain loan details to you with patience and they don't make mistakes on deposits. Recommended...
