Big Salad5I have been banking here for just under a year now. I was suggested here from some family and really enjoyed the fair rates from some of the savings accounts here. Recently, just last month I ran in to my first issue here where the virtual teller/ATM crashed as I was depositing money. It was pretty nerve racking at first that the virtual teller wasn’t sure what happened, but I recieved some amazing customer service from the staff who resolved the issue while I went on about my day. I was credited my money within an hour of the issue. TLDR, great rates, great customer service, and a great atmosphere inside the building. Couldn’t suggest this place more.

Jeff R.5To be honest I was worried while trying to find a bank that I can use in person. Then a co-worker told me to try GE and I tried them and it’s been awesome to have a bank thatI I can be comfortable with. I’m adding a second savings account for my kids at this location as well. I did this review to hopefully help someone out that is in question about a new bank. This is defiantly the one to trust. I’m also doing this because, it’s always easier to write a complaint than a compliment and this bank deserves a compliment due to their hard work at helping this special case. Thanks crew!

Michael Whalen5This summer I visited my elderly father in Edgewood Ky (I now live in Stone Mtn Ga). While running routine errands, we stopped by the G E Credit Union Florence branch. We were greeted at the door with a very friendly “hello” using my dad’s name. Little did I know this was soon to be a visit with my “new” found family. We were assisted by Hannah ( who was extremely considerate of dad’s slow pace. She was professional, understanding and very friendly. We were soon greeted by another Hannah ( she brought coffee to my dad) and also seemed to know him. After completing our transaction, which could have easily taken just a few minutes ( we were probably there about 45 minutes or more , we were never rushed) we were met by Michelle, the Assistant Branch Manager, it was very easy to see all staff we came into contact with were a reflection of management. Very easy to do business, and felt more like visiting with a family member or personal friends. Please keep this team in mind for your banking needs. You will really feel at home. Shelly Simon5We financed an rv through GECU in 2017(Batavia location). We just left the Florence KY office after closing on selling that rv. We dealt with Cara and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We were nervous, never selling anything on our own, but it went smoother than we thought and Cara (and the rest of the staff) was so helpful, patient and personable. We went in with the intention of closing our acct-but ended up putting the proceeds from the sale into savings acct. We will continue to do business with GECU. Thank you Cara and staff for the great customer service!!

Penny Wilder1Worst experience ever today. No tellers available. All virtual, for safety, but you have someone at your elbow guiding you. Absolutely insane. Personnel everywhere at people's side but no teller. Later stopped by 5/3 bank. They had tellers. Safer to have them across teller stand than 4inches from your face. Need a protocol change. If things don't change I will consider going elsewhere. Where is common sense?

Amanda Lewis1Asked for a manager to close accounts and was told to wait by the manager. Waited for over 20 minutes until another employee offered to help, not the manager herself. I witnessed the manager help another customer who came in AFTER I did, while I was still waiting. Not sure if the manager was just incompetent and didn't know how to close accounts or they were intent on being rude. Not happy with how the manager blatantly avoided helping a member.
