  This review is for both genco locations in waco tx. They're ok. Staff is nicer at the bellmead location. But don't think they're willing to help you if you need it because this bank does NOT care. I love my other bank, Verabank.

  Genco is fine until you find other banks who don't hold YOUR money for "authorization" for 2 or more business days.( For other banks, the minute they receive, they drop it. Made me move my direct deposit to another bank). Nor charge you for every single overdraft. ($28?? We're not really getting $500 in overdraft, especially since it's not good for cash withdrawal. That option would have helpedany time when I was short on rent) In all, the services are outdated and I see no reason for it to be that way in 2020. I've had more inconveniences that unfortunately have outweighed their friendly customer service. I don't plan to stay there much longer.

  I’ve had so many problems with this bank from long deposits to somehow always getting my replacement card lost after my old one expires. I’ve had to wait almost 2 months in those cases just to have a card to use the money in my account. Avoid this trap and find a better bank

  Kyle, Thank you for letting us know what is going on pertaining to your account. We have an instant issue debit card machine at our Valley Mills Drive branch location. Please come in to that lobby next time you need a card and we can give that to you right away.

  As good as a credit union could be if you want FREE checking with no strings. Only drawbacks he here are: (1) very basic online site... VERY basic; (2), mobile app lacks ability to make deposits.

  I have been a customer of GENCO for about 7 years. I have always been happy with their service. From auto loans, to business checking , to personal savings, I have always received professional, attentive service. The folks that work there are always happy and friendly, greeting you by name. I sure like that, compared to some big banks that I have done business with in the past. I frequent the branch in Bellmead, near The Cracker Barrel. The manager, Adam, is very nice and his door is always open, for customers like me, to stop by and visit or to talk business. I highly recommend GENCO to anyone that needs a good bank and good people to take care of all their banking needs. Well done GENCO !

  Bad first impression. I tried to see my options on bank financing a truck and they wanted 18 month payout no others options offered. My other credit union always gives me options

  I am sorry we were not able to give you as many options as preferred. Financing is limited by factors that influence that decision. If you would like to call or come by I am sure we can help you address some of the factors so to improve your options.
