David Beauchamp4Recently bought a used 2015 Chevy from these guys. Was a pretty good experience, our salesman was Bill Ciszon, he was a decent guy. The only complaint I had was it took quite a long time to get all the paperwork signed, other than that we had a good experience. As I was leaving he was showing my wife how to use all the electronics stuff in the car, I thought that was cool because I read so many reviews on here saying they were crappy and don't care about customers, we didn't see that. Also we had to go get an additional key a couple days later and the service guy gave my wife a new GM key and we had agreed to take a cheaper aftermarket key, even though I wasn't paying I understand they wanted to save money too, but they did it to make her happy , and they washed it too, I would recommend these guys.

Chris Wange1I made an appointment to test drive a used Sonata last week. We drove up to McHenry from Naperville to check out the car. Everything looked good, and we went inside to discuss the price. We agreed on a price, I signed a sheet of paper with that price, and the salesman went to run it by his manager. After about 15 minutes, he came back to say we were in a "sticky situation" because another buyer has now suddenly placed a down payment on the car and agreed to a higher price. We knew there was a later appointment that day to see the car so we suspect they called this person to say the car was about to be sold and asked if they would pay the sticker price. If this is the case, then selling a car from under a potential customer is a very shady way to conduct business. I understand why it would be done from a financial reason, but very poor job from a customer relations perspective. I highly doubt we'll be considering any future purchase from this auto group. We've told others, and we'll be continuing to tell others, about our negative experience.

Unfortunately, the vehicle you were interested in was being shown to another customer by another associate. Our two associates were not aware that the other had customers on the same vehicle. In this particular situation, the other associate's guest had already test driven the vehicle and a deposit was made prior to your arrival. The situation was not intentional by any means.

Edgar Fuentes5Honestly, the least frustrating car buying experience I ever had. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable of the vehicles in their lot. Marcus Jones was my sales person, he was extremely polite, helpful and made sure I left in a vehicle I WANTED. I love my new car! I recommend Gary Lang to anyone looking for a quality vehicle without all the hassle.

We enjoyed meeting and working with Jeff Vicari, along with Mike and Nathan and staff. We discovered a wonderful group of patriotic, hard-working Americans, and we loved the flag emblem they gave us for the rear window. Yes, and the car is nice, too!

Vincenzo Biundo5I never in a million would have ever thought buying a car would be a easy and pleasant experience but thanks to Kevin Curtis I was. He is easily the best salesman I've dealt with to date on any level. I know when it's time for me go buy another car he will be the 1st person I contact for I would not think twice for taking Kevin's advice as it help me with this last experience, hopefully it will be awhile before I bother him! Mark Adams1Tried to work with them on a new Suburban but was told they are not participating or working with anyone with the GM discount. Never in all my years would I work with these people on anything. Totally taking advantage of the market and disrespecting a GM worker. GM family must not mean anything, my business will go elsewhere.

The sales person was not aware of the change to reinstate the aforementioned employee purchase program. General Motors Dealers are not required to sell any vehicle to a General Motors Employee at the General Motors employee pricing. Due to the shortages in inventory, we need to sell vehicles to customers first and General Motors Employee’s and General Motors Dealership Employees second. We are not sure why you did not try to buy closer to your hometown in Greensburg Indiana, but if it’s still necessary for you to purchase a vehicle, we will honor the General Motors Employee purchase pricing, reinstated by General Motors leadership. General Motors dealerships do not control the decisions made by General Motors. The vehicle you are looking for is not here yet and is still in TRANSIT and pictures are not available.

Pete5Everyone at Gary Lang was very helpful! They spend a lot of time showing us the vehicle that we wanted, which was a Subaru Crosstrek. The price was very fair. They spent a lot of time showing us how to use all the features of the car after we bought it. They also helped tremendously with all of the paperwork. I originally worked with Michelle, who communicated very quickly with me by email and phone, but when we came to the dealership, everyone else was just as willing to help us.
