Shawn Moberly5We used Forcht bank to get our financing for our house when we moved to Lexington. They are usually running a deal on financing a home and we got low cost closing costs and a great interest rate. The loan officer was excellent to work with and helped us all thru the process! She even stayed on contact with us on her days off. They got everything done when they said they would and we actually closed earlier. Great bank...great people..we will use them again!!

Dave Cooper1This bank has strong political leanings and proudly displays campaign signs in their front yard. Bank owner is a prominent Republican donor. To me, it does not make good business sense to alienate about 50 percent of its potential customers. Most people in Lexington really hate Mitch McConnell.

Billing Expert1Their banking is quite terrible with tons of regulations. They put a hold on everything for days and sometimes weeks so you don't even have access to your funds. Deposited a rent check from a tenant who wrote the check from her Chase bank account, and they put a hold on it saying that Chase doesn't verify? Chase is the biggest bank in America! Their customer service is quite poor also, upper management not returning emails, calls, etc. I would definitely not recommend this bank to anyone. In response to owner. Thank you for a response, this is the first one ever received. Interesting how the only response was after a negative review was written and none were when I was actually a customer. Also the review is accurate, as the above review happened at every branch I went to.

In the future, we would request that you place an accurate review of your experience instead of duplicating the 'review' at other locations which misrepresents the commitment to customer service by many of our hard working bankers. Shawn Coffey (Tiki)1I have been with Forcht for several years. They have been great...until I had my first ever real issue. My identity was stolen and someone was registering my debit card to purchase AppleCash. I disabled my card with the app and called the number on the app as soon as they opened. The rep that answered told me this wasn't an issue her department would handle and I would need to reach out to my local branch hen they opened after the weekend. I asked what department I had reached and she said "this is the fraud department.".... I asked her directly if someone attempting to use my card that was not me was not considered fraud and she replied that it was simply not something her department could do anything about except disable my card which I had already done. So I waited. And then I got another notification that my card was being registered and I called back hoping to get a different answer. I watched, as I was on the phone with the new rep as my card was enabled. I immediately disabled it again with the app. This went back and forth while I BEGGED the rep to NOT allow my card to be enabled. She yelled at me that i was travelling and was requesting it. I tried to explain to her how I was obviously NOT requesting it but she seemed to get irritated that I was not letting her cut me off and raised her voice over me. I watched my money stolen in real time as the person with my info was on the other line with the same department saying they were me and it was ok eventhough I was on the phone saying it wasn't. The rep even confirmed with me that the notes on my account said someone was attmepting to use it w/o authorization just minutes before they called in and got my restrictions lifted. I went to my local branch (Hamburg) on Tues, skipping out early on work and disputed the charges and asked for a new card. I was told I would get reimbursed and a new card in about 7 days. & days and I have the funds but no card so I call. I was told no one had submitted the order for a new one (the woman i spoke with was actually present when I requested the new card in person originally). She said she would put the order in for a replacement immediately. She then asked why I didn't request a temporary card? I hadn't even know it was an option as it had never been offered. I drove there and got a new temporary card and was told to call the number on the back to activate it. I went home, called the number, and was told "no, you have to activate it from an atm." So I drove BACK to Hamberg, activated the card and waited for my new one. Another 7 days has passed and I still only have this temporary card. I'm closing my account.

The Multi Gamer1They'll block your card when doing simple things like buying gas in your hometown, ordering things online to your own address, and investment transactions so you can lose out on literal 1000s, but they're just fine with you paying rent and utilities to an apartment in another state 12 hours away while still making transactions in kentucky. complete joke.
