Angelique Caldwell1When I first started using this bank about 5 years ago, it was great and so was the customer service. But that past year, I have had nothing but bad experiences. Rude staff, problems with my accounts, holds and frozen accounts for no reason and the list goes on. Just like the other people on here that have had awful experiences, I too will be switching banks.

The Comptons1ABSOLUTELY WORST BANK EVER!!! They turn off your card for fraud protection for insignificant purchases. THEN, they let $900 worth of ACTUAL fraudulent activity go through and take 7 days to put the money back into your account! WHAT A JOKE! Chase, PNC, or ANY other non PODUNK bank do not have these issues. Also their overnight staff is a joke... Now I sit here with no funds while a thief is enjoying $900 of my hard earned money... Yeah buyer beware!!! Do not use this JOKE of a bank!

Jonathan Walker1Use another credit union. They take money out of your account without letting you know. They don’t send any confirmation emails that your bill is paid. They over charged me twice.

seth kirk2Sure i had overage charges but they were errors from my credit card company. Luckily I had american express that took care of that from their end because UKFCU gave me the shaft. The tellers in the branches are nice, but the service offered fails to compare to other big banks. I went with US Bank and they have been taking much better care of me.

HOLY COW1I would be embarrassed to have the reviews that the organization has! I have been a client for over 10 years and ther customer service is one of the worst i have ever experienced. For the record my credit is exceptional and my accounts are in good standings!

Dullard Fella1Every time I try to make a payment, I cant find anyone. I hate this place. Give me a human. this is BS. Not every one is tech savvy. You didnt ask if we want the option of a human. You are forcing me and others to use the app. I just want to PAY MY DAMN BILL!
Response from the ownerWe sincerely apologize for your experience. This is certainly not the standard of service we strive for. Please know we have shared your feedback with the appropriate departments.

Brenna Fitz-Gerald1To Whom it May Concern: I would like to give some feedback about my experience with UKFCU. My account was often lost or representatives were unable to find it in the system, because when my account was set up, the hyphen in my name caused some trouble. Some UKFCU programs kept the hyphen, and some replaced it with a space. This also caused some of my payments to be lost and I had to go into a branch to correct the problem. It was indescribably frustrating that my account couldn't be found in a timely manner or that my payments were going to the wrong place. When I set up my auto loan, I was required to have a checking account, and I was told that I would never have to use it, and I could not close it until my loan was paid off. Recently, I started receiving mail stating that I was subject to a fee for lack of activity on my checking account. I am not sure how much of my money was garnished to cover this ridiculous fee. Today I called to verify that my accounts are indeed closed, only to be on hold for a total of 45 minutes… Later after pressing every button in an attempt to be rerouted, the automated system told me that the call center was closed. I do NOT understand why this wasn’t stated when I pressed the option for a representative. I am beyond angry. In conclusion, I left UKFCU for a much better company. One who knows my name, can find my account instantly every time, does not lose my payments, one that does not charge me hidden or sneaky fees, and one that does not EVER allow me to stay on hold when they are actually closed. I will NEVER recommend UKFCU to anyone, as I feel them to be unprofessional, disorganized, and incompetent.
