FirstBank Reviews

Thomas Stevens1Wow.....FirstBank has been my bank over 25 years and today is probably my last time setting foot in their bank. A sign alerts ⚠️ customers that caps cannot be worn, the hoodies cannot be worn, that sunglasses cannot be worn... etc. Upon entering, wearing a cap the rude renta-cop ordered me to remove my cap. Are you serious!?!?!? By doing this FirstBank is telling me I am not welcome in their bank. That a customer for over 25 years is not welcome. Horrible experience! Done!

GreyBrewer1If you like standing around for 20 minutes waiting for elderly people to figure out how to use a bank, good news! You can do that over and over here. And if you like all the staff walking away and locking themselves in a mysterious room for no reason while you wait, guess what? They've got you covered! Never come here.

Xing Xin1Absolutely terrible customer service, I asked the young lady could I speak to a banker, she didn't want to do that. And insisted she could help me but couldn't. So she goes to the banker and ask for advice on my account situation. After she returned to the counter I explained that's why I wanted to speak with a banker. Then a woman with long black hair comes up to the counter, and was being very confrontational, rude and didn't even bother to treat me like a customer. I didn't talk disrespectful or raise my tone. All over a simple question, that was a Absolutely horrible experience. And I will talking with the corporate office.

Jeff S2Just another big bank with fees. Opening a new account they made me come in the office just to tell me I need to unfreeze my account (Transunion) before anything further can be done. The only way to avoid fees is to have your paycheck ACH. Look elsewhere.

Kevin McCutcheon1They should change the name to Worst Bank. Their ATMs are constantly down.

dbarud5Fees for everything and no service? What does that even mean? Been banking with Firstbank for about fifteen years. I have noticed no unreasonable fees - don't notice any at all actually - and the service I have received via either in-person visits or their 24-hour callcenter has always met my limited expectations (I mean, it's a bank, what do you really want, okay?). 'No service' would probably indicate that you have arrived at the bank outside of open hours, or you don't know what you want in life. Otherwise, fine bank... for banking.

Josh Phillips3*Edit. Added 2 stars. A rep contacted me after I commented on a Facebook post. Long story short, after a couple of conversations, 1st Bank has honored their commitment, and I’ve received the promotional offer. Do not recommend 1st Bank. They do not honor their promotional offers, or what branch level employees promise. I opened an account and they didn’t send me a debit card until a couple of months afterwards.

Isaac Salazar2Rating for this branch rather than bank. Sign of the changing times in Downtown Denver. Dog friendly but not child friendly the smell verified. Dylan's demeanor screamed judgment and was extremely rude when depositing today. 5 stars as far as banks go but this branch is definitely under the standards set by other branches in the area.
