  I have been with First State Bank since 1983. I love supporting our community bank, and they have always maintained the stability and personal touch you would expect from a local business. Big banks change hands, products, and policies regularly, but First State has been a steady presence, providing great service and commitment to this community for the long haul!

  The bank that ALMOST works for us. We always get a sympathetic ear and support tries very hard to help, but in the end they can't provide the services we require. Mostly due to issues with the website. Can't sign in from some devices and bill pay won't work from any device on any browser. The promised call back never happened. Have to give them credit, they are still trying to resolve. We had a long history with this bank and it breaks my heart to have to find a faceless corporation bank to get my business done.

  Several attempts at a refi but they do not value the business. Avoid this company and go with a major provider that quite possibly will return calls and provide you with some actual service. Just overall a bad experience from day one.

  Dealt with a few banks in the past. People don't generally get too excited about banks to review them. Been with FSB for over 5 years, and the fairest of all the banks I had dealings with.
