  I was referred to First Meridian Mortgage by a coworker. As a first-time homebuyer, Kevin and Elizabeth made the experience very smooth for us. I wasn't stressed at all working with them and homebuying is a stressful experience altoghter! Kevin was always eager to ask questions, assured me that he hasn't failed in meeting deadlines, and made timely calls when necessary. I appreciated Kevin's transparency and let me know of the different loans available to me. He never seemed pushy and even got me a mortgage loan with better terms than I had originally agreed on. I will certainly consider FMM in the future and I recommend First Meridian Mortgage. They are true professionals!

  First time home buyer here and based on stories from my friends/family I was a bit nervous about the entire process- mainly how to navigate the various VA home loan steps. I looked into a few places, but ultimately chose to go with First Meridian because Kevin is also a veteran and figured he’d know the VA process. I wasn’t let down at all. With Kevin and Elizabeth the entire process went smoothly. They are beyond knowledgeable and took the guesswork out of the equation completely. Kevin considered my personal circumstances and negotiated an impressively low rate. I especially appreciated their responsiveness and the saintly level of patience they had with my many questions and concerns.   First Meridian Mortgage Corporation made the impossible possible. This was the first time that my wife and I went through the process of buying a home and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Kevin Retcher and his team. My wife and I were only in the initial steps of getting our credit and finances in order to purchase a home, but she found the one that she wanted. I really didn’t think it was going to be possible, but Kevin was able to secure a home loan for us and at a far lower interest rate than was even advertised at the “bigger” places. He and his team were responsive, informative, compassionate, and ensured a seamless process throughout.   Kevin helped us through an IRRRL/VA Refinance for our home. He provided exceptional service. As I shopped around for different rates, Kevin was very straight forward and up front with everything. He is definitely someone you can trust, and I would say that's one of the most important factors when deciding your mortgage broker. In addition, never had an issue with communications...he was always responsive to our questions, concerns, issues, etc. He is a veteran and understands the needs of fellow veterans and service members.   I contacted First Meridian Mortgage Corporation initially based on positive reviews online, and I couldn’t have been more happy with my decision. Kevin helped me purchase my first home. He gave me outstanding guidance, dependability, and deep understanding about a wide range of homes that we looked at. Since it was my first time buying a house, I had a lot of questions, but, Kevin answered every questions and he was very patient in explaining every step of the process.   No need to shop around for rates, Kevin and his team are the only call you need to make. In the past 3 years, we’re refinanced twice, most recently to pay for a home renovation. Both times, Kevin was our advocate, listening to our needs and finding the most favorable terms. The recent transaction took less about 9 days from start to settlement, with Kevin and his outstanding team expediting paperwork to lock in the rate before an anticipated rate hike. And I filled out and electronically signed the application on my phone while I waited for my daughter & friends at a trampoline place. It was so easy. First Meridian Mortgage is a gem.

  Kevin, and his team at First Meridian Mortgage were undoubtedly the most thorough, knowledgeable and hard-working mortgage processing group that we have ever come across. We heard about Kevin from a family member and we will not go anywhere else for any mortgage transactions in the future. He made sure our new home closing was as smooth as possible and talked me through the numerous questions that I threw at him throughout the home buying process.   I was recommended to Kevin from a colleague. As an active duty Marine Kevin was able aid me in my search from across the country. As soon as a home became available that I was interested in he would drive to the property and walk me through it over facetime. Additionally as a first time home buyer Kevin explained to me all costs and expenses. Kevin was able to bundle Realtor Services and Mortgage Financing together which made the process easier and resulted in First Meridian Mortgage originating my loan for FREE!! As a serviceman trying to buy from across the country this service and Kevin's dedication to helping me find the perfect home were outstanding.
