  I am a real estate broker and have worked with many mortgage lenders over the years. Phillip Wagner is by far the best lender I have ever worked with. He takes the time to explain things in an "easy to understand way." What other lenders try to explain, he somehow can answer my questions simply.   First Bank is a 1st Class organization and provide the ultimate in customer service. Ronnie and his staff was very efficient and thorough in explaining the process of re-financing a home and what steps would be needed to get to closing. Everyone was very polite and professional. Ronnie as my loan officer is top-notch and he takes his job very serious and make sure the customer needs are met and no stones are un-turned. If a every need financing for a new home or new vehicle or any type of loan, 1st Bank and Ronnie will be my first choice bar none.

  Working with First Bank was so easy! As a first time homebuyer I was concerned that the mortgage process would be overwhelming. Scott spent time explaining everything I needed to know and was both thorough and patient in answering questions at every step along the way. He was respectful of my busy schedule, but also kept the process moving and on track and the web portal made it simple to send documents. Overall, the experience was significantly easier than I expected. A few friends have even commented on how smoothly it went.   I was originally using a different lender for a refinance, but didn't get the appraisal price I was hoping for. My realtor recommended Phillip and he identified a few areas where our loan from the other lender would hurt us in the long run. Phillip was able to clearly explain what I needed to ensure that my payment would be lower and that our escrow account would not be short due to property tax and home owners insurance increases. I cant thank him enough for all of his help. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the service he provided and will recommend all of our friends and family to him.

  Ronnie helped me with my original mortgage in 2012. He reached out to me in May to check on me and my situation. He told he rates had gone down and wanted to let me know he may be able to help me lower my monthly payment. In the end I was able to do a refi and pull out equity to pay down existing debt. While my monthly payment is a bit higher the offset by paying off other high interest debt is worth it. A huge monthly savings is what I was able to achieve.
