      Opened an account here for savings. Have a few thousand dollars in there and got a notice threatening to charge me $10 a month for not using the account enough. I have like $5k in there why would that result in any charges? You're earning free interest off my money. I guess I'll put my money somewhere else. Really sneaky practice as I was definitely never made aware of this fee when I signed up. They silently start stealing your money all the while making money from holding on to your money. I see someone else below fell victim. Shocked to see a credit union engaging in such shady practices. An account with a decent balance should never incur fees.

      I was waited on by Christoper on 3/19/22 at the Cleveland location on Emerald Parkway. Christoper was kind, informative, and very helpful! He was a joy to talk to and made the experience of going to the bank on a Saturday morning enjoyable! Christoper took the time to actually talk to me and make me feel like a valued customer.       I was working with Raquel and I can't say enough good things about her. She was so kind and knowledgeable and I felt extremely confident switching my car loan company to Firefighters Community Credit Union. She was amazing and I highly recommend working with this company and Raquel!!

      I’ve been a member of the credit Union for about 15 years. I’ve never been over drawn, never had any shady business with my account. A teller named Janice refused to let me transfer 40 dollars from my account to my mom’s account because she wasn’t sure if I was doing something “dishonest.” I’ve never done anything dishonest in the 15 years I’ve been going there, and I would LOVE to know what, exactly, Janice thought that I was doing that was dishonest by trying to help my mom out financially. Janice needs to be fired.

      I have a car loan and a savings account through the union. Haven’t had many issues with it. Cut and dry. However I went to open a checking account a few days ago and was told it would be a hard inquiry on my credit report “so they could see what else there is to offer me” but if I’m only interested in a checking account why is this necessary? Didn’t sit right with me at all. A little annoying and inconvenient when wanting to keep all of my accounts in one place. Oh well. There are other financial institutions. Update: The manager did attempt to reach out to me to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, I left straight from there and opened an account elsewhere. The attempt to rectify is greatly appreciated!

      Hi Lavonne. We are close to switching these types of inquiries so they are no longer a "hard" inquiry, we believe this will be changed soon. Also, I've brought your situation to the attention of our CEO and he is investigating if we can forego a credit report since we already have a relationship with you.       Terrible. Our account was dormant for 6 months, so they assessed a bunch of fees, and closed it. Well., it was dormant because it is a hassle to bank there. When we would go, lines were slow moving, and the tellers seemed bothered by..., well.., anything. We did consider them for both an auto and boat loan last year, but they weren't competitive in either case. We went today to deposit a modest amount of bulk change into an account for Christmas, but we're told our account was closed because it was dormant for 6 months. What an absolute joke of an institution.., stay away, and find something more convenient and focused on customer service (Huntington for example). We have two more car loans in our future and will not ever consider these jokers..

      I received a dormant fee of $10 and called to see if I could get it reversed. The online chat person said it was too long ago (more than 2 Statements). I then told her I would be closing my accounts to which she answered "we have parameters we must follow....and I hope you have a better day." Nice

      Banking is nothing but a hassle. I regret switching here and will be leaving. I'm on the phone with them non stop. It's something new all the time. I've currently been on the phone for over an hour because they put a hold on my acct and nobody knows why, who did it, or how to unhold. Things like this happen daily at Ff community credit union . update. I went to cancel my accounts and was told there would be a 2 hour wait. I was then told I could empty my accounts then close them over the phone. So emptied out my money, went home and called and was told i cannot do that i have to go back to the bank. Since then they have been charging me fees for an empty account and trying to make me pay them $108. this place is a joke, please save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere

      went to cash/deposit a check from one of their member credit unions. in order to do this you have to tell them the routing number and account number so they can find the bank in thier system. i went inside and was told due to COVID reasons i would have to go through the drive through to do it. they had 3 other people in line when i walked in. i asked if they would be able to understand me over the intercomm since it was a pneumatic system and not a window. she said you don't wear a mask going through..totally not what i meant. i ended up having to repeat the numbers 3 times for them to get it over the intercomm. will be finding another place to do any banking i have to do locally.
