  My husband and I worked with Thomas to complete our mortgage process with Finance of America. As first time home sellers, we had a lot of questions and unknowns about the whole selling and buying process, but Thomas was great with clearing up any and all questions that we had! He was very detail orientated and knew the exact status of our applications every time we asked and he was always readily available when we needed anything from him. He was also incredibly patient with us and was very appreciative of all of our questions. We also worked a bit with Dean and Katelyn on his team and they were both very pleasant and efficient as well. We can't say enough great things about the service we were provided by Thomas and his team and we would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a great lender!

  I was referred to Brett through my realtor. Having dealt with bad loan officers in the past I came into this a bit skeptical. Brett truly went above and beyond. He was always extremely responsive and easy to get ahold of. Having dealt with people in the past who were difficult to reach, having someone who is as responsive as Brett is extremely helpful. He was knowledgeable and came up with many options for our situation, even digging up options that hardly anyone knows existed. He got us a GREAT interest rate on a rental property! I can't recommend him enough!!

  Thomas is an extremely knowledgeable and creative loan officer. He will make sure that if something can get done, it does. Getting a mortgage done is stressful with many “fires” that pop up along the way. Thomas did an amazing job of putting the fires out before we even knew they were occurring. This led to a much more enjoyable and smooth process. His team is also very professional and knowledgeable about getting the job done. I can not recommend him enough.

  The level of communication was virtually non-existent. Once a week, I reached out to find out the status on my loan. This company used a bait and switch tactic to gain my business - quoted a lower rate only to increase it one week prior to close. I went through the close process despite all of the above because my husband and I had invested significant time and effort gathering and supplying the company with all the requested documents that we didn't want to start over from scratch with another company 45 days later. I've never had the rate change on me with prior brokers/companies I've worked with - very disappointed!!

  When I first started the home buying process I was completely clueless. I truly didn't know where to start in terms of searching for a home let alone how to get a mortgage. I ended up meeting with Ryan Molstad at Finance of America. I chatted with Ryan for a couple of hours and in that time I went from very clueless to having an ease of mind in buying a home. Ryan is beyond knowledgeable in the realm of finance. Regardless of the time of day Ryan was always available to answer questions and assist with the home buying process. Whether you're looking to buy a home (especially as a first time home buyer!) or trying to refinance you are in the right place when talking to Ryan. When it came time to offer on a home Ryan called the selling team and explained to them how I was a solid candidate for the home I wanted. There is no doubt in my mind Ryan's diligence in doing so helped my offer get accepted. Finance of America also offers a 1 year warranty on your home with their mortgage. An extremely nice perk of working with them when your water heater breaks after you move in!
