  Our mortgage broker didn’t listen/hear us, and was an absolutely awful communicator. It would take anywhere from 2 hours to 6 days to hear back from her regarding answers to our questions and even important paperwork and documents. She didn’t tell her management about about a key detail for our closing until the week beforehand, and it messed up a lot of our paperwork, threatening our ability to close on time. Whether it was her ignorance or her inability to listen (because we told her this key detail during our first conversation and actually asked her advice on it - she said she didn’t know and to ask the other party involved, which we did, and then she claimed she never said that) I don’t know, but she almost caused us not to close on our home. In addition, she also lied to me twice and literally laughed in my face once while she was telling one of the lies (she didn’t know I knew it was a lie at the time she was laughing). When I’d ask her boss for the same info, the boss would get back to me and resolve issues as quickly as she could. The boss is the only reason this review is not one star thanks to her responsiveness and my realtor’s dedication to go above and beyond to help us close on time. I’m bummed that the employee I worked with was so inexperienced and such a poor communicator, but I did give them one extra star just because Derek reached out to me to offer his guidance and see if there was any way he could help me out and I do greatly appreciate finally feeling valued by someone on their team.

  Al Durden was great to work with and kept us in the loop every step of the mortgage process. He made sure we understood everything and was always available for any questions we had. He's very knowledgeable about the whole process and helped us get into our first home.

  Tim is absolutely amazing. He helped us so much. He did everything he could to make this as stress free as possible and never gets annoyed, no matter how many questions you ask or how many times you call. I will always come back to them in the future.

  As a first time home buyer this process was very confusing. Unfortunately, Fairway made that process even more confusing. Erica was amazing, but there are too many people working with your loan and very poor communication. My only advise is do everything in writing and lock your rate as soon as possible.
