Prince Mercury1Horrible credit union now a days, their voicemail system is horrible and they don’t call you back in a timely manner even though you’re not suppose to lose your place in line. I’ve had my account for 15 years and they are going down hill,, by reading the comments, it seems most long time loyal customers agree. ): really really use to genuinely love this bank, can’t wait to travel back to CA to close it

Sophia Perez1Took almost $500 from my bank account and refuses to tell me where it went/refuses to acknowledge it's fraud. I was told over the phone "You don't know what you are talking about" and talked over several times. This credit union claims I sent that money to someone when I never did and tells me that no money is missing from my account when I can see it missing right in front of me. They have a legal responsibility to track my charges but refuse to do so. I've been a customer for years. Sad to see how they treat their customers. Don't go here - your money will disappear and they will claim you are crazy and nothing can be done.

Tracy Caldwell1Someone just committed fraud on my account that I have with CCU at your credit union on 2/1 and 2/2. They did a test run and took out $60.00 on the first day and returned to the same branch Sunday and took $500.00. I only had a little money in my account. I've never heard of your credit union. I hope I never will again. Was it an inside job? I freaking live near IInglewood!
Response from the ownerOh no, we are so sorry to hear about your card loss. I know that fraud can be incredibly frustrating to go through. Your credit union should have a fraud loss form you can complete to obtain credit while the credit union investigates what happened. I will alert our electronic services department as well to investigate.

Tony Clift1Im not impressed and I haven't been for a long time. Ive been a member for over 31 years, and for the past 10, Ive only stayed a member out of loyalty to my fellow firefighters. Every car I have ever purchased, I give F&A first shot at the loan. I haven't financed through them in years, because the other credit union I belong to can always beat their customer service, and their rates. I requested a new visa card two weeks ago, the magnetic strip on my current one stopped working. Im still waiting for my new one. In a world where you can get almost anything overnight, waiting two weeks is just an other example of their non exsistant customer service. Ill be looking for a new financial institution to give my business to.

Cameron Cyrus1Incredibly difficult to work with. Enticed by rate sheets that boast low rates for home equity loans and lines of credit as high as 95% and then after completing so much paperwork and pulling my credit the valuation tool this organization uses produced a value over $200K lower than my other credit union came back with. Guess which company I will be doing business with. All I can say is: EPIC FAIL! Don't waste your time.

I will pass on your feedback to our COO that oversees Real Estate Lending. We use county records for the valuation and they are not always correct. I too have experienced this first hand. The county records say my home is a four bedroom and it’s a five bedroom, which affected my home value. As an alternative option, F&A offers a full appraisal. Was this offer not extended to you? If not, I will take your situation back to our Real Estate Manager as a coaching point for the representatives. I realized this all too late, but I felt you were owed a response from us regardless. David Barron1Member since 1979 by joining LACoFD Today TUESDAY Nov 12 the telephone service center is supposed to be open at 8am per the message. squat, nothing but a message to leave a message. What happened? My experience is that from time to time you dont follow your own hours, making doing other business difficult. Come on you can do better!!

Marlene Gil3It’s ok, I expected more from a credit union, they need to get updated ATM, that accept your cash and not go thru an envelope. Also with covid 19 the Monterey park bank needs to be open to public.
