  John was an absolute legend. He communicated clearly and let me know where I was in the process and what was coming. I never felt ambushed or surprised. There were some very unconventional and frustrating turns in our purchase brought on by the seller but John went to the mat for us and we got it done. Thanks John for everything!

  I have had the pleasure of working with Adam Shaefer with Essex Mortgage for over the last decade. We purchased two homes and refinanced multiple times as interest rates dropped over the last 3 years. I am self-employed and the loan process for self-employed borrowers is onerous but Adam was always there to answer questions and make the process go as smoothly as possible. If you are looking to finance a new home purchase or refinance your existing loan, I highly recommend using Adam and Essex Mortgage.

  Super fast and easy refinance. The loan officer that I worked with, Adam Schaefer, has done loans for me previously. He is very knowledgeable and help me accomplish what I wanted done as far as a refinance. His team and Essex Mortgage online document signing made the process very smooth. The entire team was accommodating and very clear with all their communications. I am an extremely happy customer and will continue to give them my business in future loans.

  My husband and I worked with Adam Schaefer to get approved for a loan to buy our first house and he went above and beyond to make it happen! After this experience, we can't recommend him enough.
