  I have now been using Elliott CPA for about four years. Melinda is attentive and gets the best returns constantly while working with us at every turn. Melinda even got me a refund owed to me by the IRS for four years with interest! I could not recommend Melinda any more and will be using her services for many years to come.

  Let's set the scene -- a fearful young adult must file a complex tax return from multiple states, numerous stipended internships, a W2 or ... three, and zero knowledge of what to expect. Enter Elliott CPA. There are not enough positive words in the English language to describe my experience, but I'll give it a try. Melinda and Lisa were incredibly organized, genuinely interested in helping me and allaying my fears, expeditious, very personable, and all around helpful and thoughtful people. It doesn't hurt that Melinda did my taxes accurately and quickly after another major tax service prep company was unable to do them after three weeks of waiting... but all that aside, I honestly am so pleased with the service. I never thought I'd be writing a review for how great my tax filing experience was (even with the fact that I owe this year, haha). I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will be using Elliott CPA for as long as they'll have me, and I'll make sure to recommend them to anyone and everyone who will listen.

  Melinda is an excellent help when it comes to my complicated taxes each year. I never have any trouble getting them completed on time and accurately. She is definitely a huge time saver for me with my multiple businesses and jobs to have to account for!

  Melinda is always available and accessible on short notice to put out my fires and keeps our business balanced and on track. She also cleaned up the mess another local CPA caused prior to our finding her in 2012. Eliott CPA is Peekskill Electric's best friend. Thanks for all you do!

  I would not recommend this CPA to anyone who has even a slightly complicated tax situation. Firstly, she acts like she's way to busy to really help you out with anything. I had a couple of questions about my tax situation which were really important to me for my 2013 taxes that I asked her the first time I talked with her. She told me that she would look into it. I asked her a few days later and she told me that she hadn't gotten around to it yet. Asked her a third time before I left back to my overseas job, and she told me that she would email me when she was able to give me an answer. I never received an email from her. Secondly, I never even received confirmation from either her or her assistant regarding whether or not the forms were successfully filed and received by the IRS. I had to email them months later to get a confirmation receipt. Thirdly, I work overseas which makes the tax situation anything but simple, and she took the easy route and filed it with the 1040 EZ form and charged me $125. Don't go to her, especially if your tax situation is the least bit complex, because she will take the easy route with it and not give it her full attention.

  I love her because she is my step mom. She works hard and works the whole day. She deserves love and doesn't need hate. I would recommend her not just because shes my step mom buy because I stay at the office with her and she is working hard and she treats her constumers with love and happiness. I love MELINDA 😉
