  I've rented from Direct Express for 3 years now. They fix maintenance issues in a timely manner and never bother you unnecessarily. They are also fair with rent and fees and have been a pleasure to work with.

  I would highly recommend buying a home through Direct Express Realty. Sharon Cavaleri is a wealth of knowledge about both Real Estate and the St Petersburg area. She is straightforward and truly cared about helping me find the right home for me. We visited many houses together and she's said everything from "You don't want to live in this neighborhood" to "I don't like the way this floor slants". I both trust and value her opinion. There are several notable times when Sharon has gone above an beyond to ensure my home buying process was successful and I was in the best position possible after closing. In addition, Direct Express's entire team was great! They were always very helpful and quick to respond. Joe Cavaleri made understanding and applying for the right home mortgage easy too. Direct Express is a one stop shop for home buying and was really great about explaining everything and leading a first time home buyer through the process.

  Christina Morgan and Melissa are always extremely responsive when we have a maintenance request or question regarding our residence although we try to handle as much as we can on our own. The mobile app makes it super simple to communicate, pay rent and avoid having to go in the office. They have been extremely accommodating with our lease circumstances. After 5 years of living in our current location we have had zero issues. Super thankful for the direct express team and all that they do.

  I have been renting from Direct Express since 2015 and I've been happy ever since! Very professional staff. Quick response time for Maintenance Requests. I can recall when I went in to sign my lease the first time, they had everything ready. The house was cleaned and ready to move in. It's been a great experience ever since. Even when times got hard in 2020, they were compassionate and understanding. I will always recommend Direct Express Realty to everyone who is looking to rent and/or buy. :)

  Mary walked us through every step of our refinance. She was always available to answer all of our questions.   I want to say thanks to Malissa and staff of Direct Express Realty for doing a great job taking care of my needs as a tenant ASAP . I reported having problems with my air conditioning and stove to the office. The same day I filled the report out I received a call from the office about my concerns . The next day someone came out and fixed the problem. Then the day after a new stove was delivered to my unit. It shows their commitment and professionalism to their clients. The name speaks for itself. I was given direct service really fast with out any complications . Thanks Direct Express Realty for all you do.

  We are current renters and pay on time and faithfully through this pandemic and ran into our landlord several times and she avoids us like the plague. I asked her a question about our 2 year lease and possibly being sent out of state to work soon for a few years and knew of people that are looking for a place and got an email copied to three others including her son the broker about the rules of breaking the lease early. Well we saw her again at her open house and instead of her saying hi, she turned and went into the house. We have been paying our hard earned money to you and can’t even get a hello. That’s how people here treat their tenants, no not really only those that are to good for the common folks. We had a landlord here who was great and would work wonders for us, her tenants. They’ll call about your rent when it’s close to the late date, but we pay faithfully and will continue until this lease is over.

  Good Afternoon Darryl, I am sorry you feel this way regarding our company. We treat all our tenants with the same respect and comfort, and do not want anyone to feel we are avoiding them. I am a bit confused by your review, but from what I have gathered, you are upset thinking your property manager is avoiding you and she CC'd the Broker/owner of the company, as well as the two current rental agents in the e-mail regarding breaking your lease. Just to address those issues, I am sure she is not avoiding you. She does genuinely care for her tenants and gives her all her tenants equal respect. The reason she CC'd the broker and two rental agents in office, is we were there to help explain the terms of the lease for early termination. Also, in case she was not in office and you had questions, we could be here to help as well. We try to go above and beyond for all our tenants as much as we can. Thank you.

  I put a maintenance request in on December 20 for a simple rain gutter that is falling of building and needs replaced. Was told after 2 months of waiting it would be replaced, it’s been 3+ months and I’m still waiting. This company will lie to you, they’re slumlords. Update: it’s now been 6 months and still no replacement of rain gutter. Now the deck is moldy and is very slippery when wet and some of the boards have warped out of place.

  Good Afternoon, I'm sorry you feel this way about our company. As we have explained to you, we can only do repairs that are approved by the owner, and in a time we have our maintenance man available. When you submitted the request on 12/20/20, you let us know it was leaking onto the wooden deck, which was then showing signs of premature deterioration. We relayed this over to the owner, who responded the following morning. We requested photos of the issue from you on the same day, 12/22/20, due to our owners needing photos before approving any repair. The photos were sent to us on 1/1/21. We forwarded them to the owner to approve the replacement. They wanted them to be repaired, and we stated we would rather simply replace them to not have any more issues, and they agreed as of 01/04/21. Within the time frame of 1/4/21-2/1/21 we had emergencies that had to be dealt with immediately and our maintenance man was busy tending to those issues, which we explained to you when we spoke on the phone. You stated on 2/17/21 you would not be renewing your lease as it was ending soon, due to the rain gutter work request. On 02/18/21 you gave us your official notice to vacate the property. We apologized it had not been completed yet, but stated we do tend to emergencies before everything else, and as this was not an emergency it was pushed back. We spoke again regarding your lease and rain gutter on 3/26/21 as you wanted to revoke your notice to vacate five days before the expiration of your lease. We complied with this and stated we would still not be able to tend to the gutter until the end of April due to now the schedule of you moving had changed. We had other scheduled projects he was assigned to, as we were under the impression you would be moving out. The end of April is also when he will be out doing general maintenance across the entire property. You were aware of this and signed your new lease. We sent a message out 3/26/21 that we will have it scheduled with you at the end of April so you are aware when he will be there. It is unfortunate this interaction made you feel we deserve a 1-Star review with a small leak from a rain gutter on the exterior of the home.
