  As someone who has always spent their adult life in the high 700's to low 800's credit score, I have never experienced a bank that was such a headache to deal with. This place is consistently terrible with approving loans and then backing out of them with lame excuses at the 11th hour. They have done this to me on more than one occasion. I then immediately go to the next bank that I have NO PRIOR BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH, and immediately get the loan no questions asked and the loan gets paid in full before maturity. I am not sure why it is such a headache to do business with them loan wise, but I suggest you move on and avoid the headaches. I will pay more interest all day everyday to not have to deal with them ever again.

  They updated their security for online banking. That caused me to change my password. After a month of having a new password this weekend I put in a wrong password and was locked out of my account. I called the Pottstown branch to have them do what had to be done to allow me back into the account. The account is in my name and my husband of 42 years. We have been with Diamond for probably 15 years. Apparently he is the primary on the account even though I do all the banking and bill paying in our home. They refused to let me back into the account without him calling to give the ok. I am furious. You can not tell me they could not have ask me any number of questions to verify who I was. It was obvious this female manager was not interested in working with one of her customers and making life easier when this could have been resolved very easily. Shame on Diamond for allowing any manager to treat your loyal long term customers in this fashion.

  Diamond CU staff is always helpful courteous, I would never consider going to any other establishment for my banking needs.

  Diamond Credit Union, particularly the Pottstown branch, offers excellent customer service. Every single employee I've ever encountered here has been nothing but courteous, friendly, and helpful. Especially Doreen of the Pottstown branch. Doreen just walked me through, on the phone, the process for accessing my online banking account. The one I inadvertently locked myself out of. Through my ancient laptop's sloth-like loading times, a browser crash, and me not following directions correctly and entering the wrong number a couple of times, Doreen exhibited the patience of a Zen master. Diamond Credit Union employees are definitely diamonds, true gems.

  Awful customer service, diamond blames you for issues they constantly cause. Have had my new card for 2 weeks has been shut down 3 times for absolutely stupid reasons such as suspected fraud at a place not 10 minutes from my house.

  I have been a member for about 20 years. I have only good things to say. I have mainly dealt with the Pottstown branch and they have always been friendly. I have never had a problem with my accounts. Attempted fraud with my account was stopped before money was taken out of my account. I love this credit union.

  After 11 years & several bad experiences with Diamond, I am closing all accounts. Horrendous customer service at multiple branches. Horrible business practice. Overdraft fees more than most banks. They said they'd get in touch with me but they don't, they continue to make closing my account a hassle even after sending a hand written note. *A few years back, I was a victim of domestic violence & temporarily homeless, so I went to Diamond to cash in change for gas & food... The teller took the change from me & would not return it because I owed a single $20 payment on my credit card. I told them I was having a hard time & they said "it's policy". That should've been it, long overdue decision. Really unbelievable looking back on it.
