  The people running this store are fantastic people! They are friendly and have good conversation. I always leave happy. They keep their store neat and clean and they are following the recommended COVID-19 guidelines to keep everyone safe! Anytime I’ve ever been in a tight situation; I’ve never left this store unsatisfied. The bad reviews that I see on here make no sense whatsoever! Just because you’re having a bad day doesn’t give you the right to post negative reviews on people. God Bless!

  On vacation from Tennessee and wanted to visit a pawn shop to find some good deals and we where disrespected 2 minutes after walking in the door by employees possibly the owner not sure. We where told to leave that we where not welcome to shop and spend any money. Absolutely terrible customer service will never step foot in this shop ever again. We visit Destin often and I will be telling others to stay away!! I love supporting small businesses but this place can go fall in a ditch!!!!!

  Destin Pawn is a great store to buy, sell and pawn your items. The store team has always treated me with respect and kindness when i went in to extend my loan or make a purchase. They are in my opinion the best in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area. If you're ever in Destin, please stop by and check out their great prices and friendly staff.

  Jim runs a "professional pawn broker business" if you're ever in need for quick cash, He's the man. Also a great selection of neat stuff including guns, jewelry, tools and antiques. The quality of the merchandise there is always better, probably because they're located in Destin. You don't find all the "Junk" like they have at other pawn shops. (update)about 4 years ago I bought a brand new Samsung phone for about 1/2 of what it would have cost at big box store. the phone is still working great.

  For several years, I have been frequenting Destin Pawn. Occasionally, I've had an item to pawn. I quickly found, once I compared and shopped around, that Destin Pawn offered the most money on whatever item I was trying to pawn. Other times though, I simply have gone in to browse. There may be a unique or specific item I'm looking for...jewelry, electronics, tools, bikes, fishing needs...even cool ashtrays and antique typewriters...they have it all. Jim and his crew are knowledgeable about everything in their store, and can always answer my questions regarding merchandise. They appraise jewelry, recently changed out a stopped watch battery for me, and know all of their local patrons by name. This is the best Pawn Shop....EVER!!!

  Bought a fishing pole last week. Got it home and realized the reel seat was loose and broken. Took it back, and they happily exchanged it for a reel I wanted. In fact the reel was priced higher that the pole was. I then asked how much would they take for the broken pole, Maybe I could fix it. They gave it to me for free. Great people to deal with. They have lots of cool stuff. I will be back!

  Called for an appraisal and couldn't get even an average for the item I was looking to pawn. Too far of a drive to go there and risk them telling me a lower price than the pawn shop in the other direction that did give a quote over the phone.

  Apologize, but it is our policy not to quote a price over the phone because it can be a point of contention when the item does not match the description especially after making a long drive. There are shops everywhere so I don't believe we deserve this rating based on your unwillingness to drive to our location. Better we tell you upfront before you make the drive.

  Been to several pawn shops in the okaloosa area and this Destin Pawn is remarkable!!!! I am not one to write reviews, but not only do they give great, fair prices, but I needed one of my items back on a day they had closed and he actually emailed me and said he would meet me over there to get my item!!!! I was in shock at how generous that was.....This is what above and beyond of customer service is all about WAY above and beyond.......if you ever need anything pawn shop related, do not even do any research!!! This is the BEST place, look NO futher..for what they did for me says it all....what a great small business that deserves the most recognition!! This is where to go!! near or far DESTIN PAWN!!! I love you and cant express my gratitude for what you have done for me!! Marie

  We all dread having to drag in our treasurers to the pawn shop so we can live another day. I have found just what makes an experience like that palpable- Destin Pawns customer service...
