Holly K.5We recently needed to close an account and open an account for a loved one's estate at this branch. The manager, Damian Lopez, was exceptional in the customer service he provided. When we had additional questions after we left, he was prompt in responding to emails and providing us with the information we needed. This credit union might not have the convenience of major banks, but what they lack in convenience they by far surpass in customer service.

Steven Esch1Went to open accounts for my children. They told me I would have to wait a few minutes. The bank was empty. We were the only people waiting, so I figured it would be fast. After 40 minutes of waiting, they told me it would be at least another 30 minutes to see an account manager and that since they were closing at 1PM (it was about 11:40 when they told me this, so they weren't closing for an hour and 20 minutes) they would only be able to open an account for one of my kids. I would have to make an appointment next week for the other account. Very poor customer service. Don't waste your time.

Jazzmine Mangler5Carlos was great at introducing us to the credit union. When expertise was needed Damian stepped in. He has exceptional customer service and is a problem solver to say the least. We had a hiccup filing for a credit union account. Damian found the error, worked with the team internally, and was able to open the account. He is a team player that gets things done and has outstanding customer service. I would recommend anyone to Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union.

The entire experience felt personal and efficient. I couldn’t have asked for better service of clientele. Top of the line, 5 stars.

Ilma Ramirez5After applying for a Personal Loan, I was contacted immediately for more information they needed. I did not qualify for the amount I needed. Just when I thought the conversation would be over, Ms. Machenzie Wilson, Loan Officer, did not stop there. In her strong friendly, informative voice, she went on to asking more questions about my need for the loan and said there was another way. This is the first time I applied for a loan and I would have given up after the first application, I'm so grateful, Mackenzie did not give up on me. I have banked with CFFCU for years. I always get good service, and the atmosphere is always clean and quiet. However, this time, I have to add, Machenzie, went far and beyond her duty. Thank you Machenzie Wilson, you are definitely an example of what customer service is. It's not just knowing the information, it's sharing it. Again, thank you. God's continued blessings to you, Cy Fair FCU and all it's employees.

Chris Conley1Dont bank here they want to charge you over draft fees before your account is in the negative. This isn't the first time they have done this to me either. Update: They had fixed it for a while but now they are back up and running on their old overdraft tricks do not bank with this bank. Avoid talking to Coby Davis lacks communication and service skills.

Jariece1Though I've been loyal member for many years and served my country proudly in the armed forces, when our card information was compromised the police locating and arresting the offenders, the thieves jail time, and bonding out on their arraignment was faster than this institution's response in aiding to fix it. Still feeling the effects of the crime today financially and emotionally, it has been an increasingly harrowing, further victimizing financial nightmare. This insititution's public-facing customer experience agents have shown depraved indifference and lack of wherewithal to act on a member's behalf as if the person they're talking to, emailing, or have encountered that has an already grievous issue was they're family member or even themselves. Instead, the egregious problem we were hit with from the financial fraud was made more laborious than it needed to be and lacked any immediate compassionate response with a consistent traversion of due diligence to repair. Through extended inaction, it felt as if the sordid situation that we were thrown into wasn't their problem to fix and, if we wanted member service resolution for it, we had to find someone else who cared. We sent every legal document we had and, finally, were reduced to pleading and begging for help. Sending the police reports and arrest records to agents for the several days while our account remained in the negative and overdraft privilege fees were accessed because of the theft, agents we encountered met us with a growing wall of naked annoyance and disdain because the member experience and service agents were tired of hearing about it and wanted our diligent efforts to correct the effects of the theft on our account to cease. Make the customer service experience like the first time every time so your institution will feel safe to your members if, or inevitably when, identity theft and/or felony financial fraud happens to them. Facilitate through team building and developmental training an exchange between the Member's Service Specialists and members that affirms for those members that your insititution is and will be protecting their funds and interests as if it were their own (or belonging to their own families). To this end, make the member's continued business more assuredly the customer service experience agent's business.

Jessica Canon1Terrible follow up regarding contacting people, or answering messages in a timely manner. Tara even apologized for inadequate follow up several times. I was given Matt's name who was supposed to handle business loans. He NEVER to this day has contacted me. When I followed up, Tara apologized and said Matt says it would be better to finance individually. Would not look at the business for a vehicle loan , instead insisted on looking at one income for a large business. When asked about financing through our business, we were told that wasn't how we needed to do it. They insisted we needed to finance through an individual, and then we could just title vehicle in the company's name. Of course and individual isn't gonna have the income the business has, so the debt versus income ratio became the problem. They wanted another co-applicant. After a whole week of back and forth, they said they were not able to move forward with the loan. Unbeknownst to them, we had already went to our bank; and purchased the vehicle and were driving it home the night before they declined to assist us. Unbeknownst to them, we could have paid cash for this vehicle but were trying to establish a new line of credit. Also unbeknownst to them, the brand new suburban will be paid off in full next month, as all of our other fleet of business vehicles are paid in full at this time. I would definitely NOT recommend this credit union for any financial needs. Follow up,and service has been terrible.

There was apparently miscommunication on our end that led to the delay and hindered us from providing alternative lending options before you were approved elsewhere. We do apologize for that. Please note that this is not the norm for us as we consistently strive to provide a high level of lending service that results in completely satisfied members each month. Dixon Valbuena5I opened an account with them and got a car loan. Process took a bit longer than expected but it wasn't their fault. The customer service was great. I had the privilege to speak to several workers and they all seamed like they cared about why I was there. I personally worked with Tara. She went out of her way to help me get what I wanted (I know I'm not the easiest person to work with) and she was very patience with me. This branch is blessed to have her. I will advise for the upper management to hire more staff QUICK! they were understaffed and had to handle many roles. By "QUICK" I mean I you (facility manager) already have people lined up to interview, specially a front desk receptionist. I know people who don't see the bright side out of everything and I can see their point about of view if they are not being attended on time. This was my first time getting a car loan and I am very blessed that I had Tara to help me out.

JoeArm4They have, overall, done very well handling my Auto loan and business account. The tellers and bankers are very professional and courteous. Any issues arise and the situations are resolved timely and sufficiently. There are two factors that I can say are unsatisfying; Both atm or inside bank check deposits do not provide an online photocopy of check image to the Cyfair FCU account holder for online review for validating any past checks received.
