Capital One Bank Reviews

Justin Holley (Bluejay717)1I wish I would have checked the reviews before I called this location because most of them say how bad the customer service is. Whenever I called I had a simple question about a check that I had deposited and I was brushed off to the main customer service line before I could even finish my question. I was hoping they'd be able to help me with a quick question instead of waiting for 15 minutes on hold for customer service but it seems they don't even have the time for that.

Danielle Gonzales1Horrible customer service. Employees will walk away from windows and just leave for breaks or lunch while the line is damn near out the door leaving only one teller to handle it all. There are never bankers in office to assist with account management. No one answers the phone when called to avoid having to even come into the physical location. Everyone deserves to take their breaks and lunch but show some consideration for your clientele that might be using their own limited breaks or lunch to come in and have their time wasted with nothing resolved.

Tory Johnson1This branch of capital one has the worst customer service of any bank I have ever used. I do not recommend using them.

Danny Szell1Both outside ATM's are regularly out of service and the inside unit is included. To wait for a teller is aweful because everything must be done to somebody over the phone. They need to stop the poor service hemorrhage.
Response from the ownerHey there, Danny—thanks for taking the time to reach out. We'll be sure to pass along this feedback, and have our tech folks check out those ATMs. ^JM

Damla Elif Çokrak1It was the worst banking experience I've ever had in my life. We waited 4 hours for nothing. Employees are very rude. Even 1 star is too much.

Reyna Mejia1I have been with this bank for years needless to say it's my fault for continuing to stay with them after many problems, I have experienced. Today was the last straw and as soon as this gets resolved Closing the account. If you really want to open an account DO NOT use this bank at all. Have you ever heard of an ATM that sits outside their branch not be linked to the bank? I truly must be ignorant as I was told by the branch manager she could not provide any service to me as the machine has nothing to do with the bank. I made a deposit to the machine it gave me an error message spit my card out, but no cash it actually stayed in there didn't post to my account or no receipt. So who resolves my problem? Well I called the # on the actual machine and now eventhough it's not my fault the Capital One machine had a malfunction, I have to wait 10 to 45 days before I can see my money. Is this really how you help a customer? Had I hit the machine guaranteed police and everyone would have been out there. Stay away from this bank!! Look for one that is more reliable.
Response from the ownerThis is certainly not the experience we're looking to provide, Reyna—thank you for looping us in. Rest assured we've documented this conversation and will make sure your feedback is in front of the right eyes. ^MS

Enrique Escobar1Banking for many years with capital one and they treat us like trash! The Cypress and Cooper field location is the worst, the manager was unable to help us to open a business account and at the end! We spoke with the branch business support team and they don’t understand why they cannot open a business account for us. After several failed attempts with capital one and lots of stress we are taking all our business to a different bank. Chase did open our account in less than 10 minutes. Customer service is very important special when they are loyal for many years.
Response from the ownerThis is never the sentiment we aim for and apologize for the experience. Rest assured - we'll get this feedback in front of the right teams.^AS

Julia S1Only go to this location if you have an incredibly large amount of time to kill. This is the slowest most inefficient run bank i have ever been too. I.e. if I am the ONLY customer takes them 30+ minutes for one simple transaction at the drive through and at least 15-20+ min for one transaction inside. No signs of improving. I only go here if I ABSOLUTELY have too.
