  I cannot recommend CCM in Fort Collins highly enough!! I bought my very first home through CCM, so I came in knowing LITERALLY nothing about the process. Sam Skipworth was the epitome of patience! He walked my family & I through every step of the process, kept ahead of deadlines, and helped me remember to CELEBRATE the process. I'd go so far as to say all of his guidance made buying a home feel EASY. I have complete trust in their company after this experience & will certainly be a lifelong client.

  Sam was referred to us by our realtor. He very quickly got us pre-approved and then once the contract was signed, taking care of all the details, being very responsive and helpful. Appreciated all the care he gave us to get it done even faster than we expected in this busy refi market.

  We had the best experience with Cross Country Mortgage. Dake was awesome to work with, and helped us feel at ease with buying our first house. We really felt like they were always there to help, even when the buying process was over. We wouldn’t go anywhere else in the future! Great customer service and overall process.

  In March 2019 we bought our first CO home, and acquired a loan from CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC. We dealt specifically with Dake Carroll. This March 2020 we refinanced our mortgage, again through Dake. Saving a couple of hundred dollars a month. We are not new to home ownership as we are in our 70's. Dake has been extremely patient with us, thorough and easy to work with. He has calmed me down, when I was anxious to lock in a low rate, waiting it out and saving us money. We would recommend Dake to anyone for your new financing or re-financing needs. There are a couple of Cross Country Mortgage companies out there. Dake Carroll is in Fort Collins and note the LLC. Don't click some group on the internet unless you want 10 phone calls. Finally he was easy to work with even during these social distancing restrictions and has signings by electronic means or personal means.

  Horrible experience. We will never use Cross County again for our investment properties. The loan officer shared personal information with a realtor who isn’t even involved with the possible sale of an investment property. He was not given permission to disclose my intention of this sale or any of my refinancing information on another personal property to a realtor. In his pathetic apology he still tried to justify his actions. Said it’s “very common” to keep realtors updated on his client’s activities; that it’s not his fault since we didn’t tell him that he couldn’t talk about our business. We called to inquire about refinancing a personal property and within an hour he called and shared our private conversation. Very unprofessional. Possibly illegal?
