  HORRIBLE service. We were recommended this tax service from a friend and after my husband met with Mr. Cauley we thought it would be a great fit. We couldn’t have been more wrong, after trying to get in touch with them for MONTHS through email, phone calls and even going up there to speak with someone we have yet to have our taxes completed. Every time we have called they are “unavailable and will call us back” even when my husband told them to get our taxes together so we could take them somewhere else they “didn’t have access”, I’m honestly not sure if they are ever in the office, or how they even stay in business! We are STILL waiting to pick up our stuff so we can take it else where, and have repeatedly asked them for it. Don’t waste your time with this business.

  Suppose I don’t understand the process of retaining a CPA. Really wanted to establish a relationship with a professional because we are forming two LLCs as it pertains to two separate businesses. I sit here this Friday afternoon, 2/7/2020, and reflect upon last Monday, 2/3/2020, when I walked into the lobby of Cox, Cauley & Richardson to set an appointment to provide this years incomplete tax return and to pay for guidance regarding my two startups. I explained to the receptionist the reason for my visit. She did her best to disguise the perplexed look on her face, asked me to give her my name and number and stated she’d call to set up an appointment. I’m still waiting. Think I’ll pass.

  We saw Tom. We didn't agree with the way Tom did our taxes. We decided to go back to our original accountant. Cox, Cauley and Richardson, llc FILED OUR TAXES WITHOUT OUR APPROVAL or SIGNATURE, and we are still dealing with the IRS 6 months later. YES, we have reported them to the IRS. I'm sure they got a slap on the wrist, while we are still going through this nightmare. We know what was incorrect on our taxes and why Tom had us paying almost $2000.00 more. He made a decision based on what he thought we should do instead of what was actually done (proof by check). I type this as I am on hold for the 10th with the IRS.

  Cox, Cauley, & Richardson, LLC is the best CPA firm in Anderson in my opinion. Chris handles my personal and business taxes with great care and expertise. I highly recommend this firm.

  Called looking for tax professional. The intern wanted to set appointment but didn't know if they would charge me or not? Other places sit down with you give a free estimate. Got to know what you're talking about if you want to do my taxes.

  I've known Ms. Richardson for years. She is an absolutely fantastic CPA! Handles my business as well as personal.. and I highly recommend her.
