  DESERVES "ZERO" STARS! 1) They nickel-and-dime you with excessive fees that are not previously discussed with the member. so the member can avoid the hefty fees. 2) They continually send personal financial statement slips addressed to the wrong member in a household, thereby revealing confidential financial data to another person in the household who also is a member of the credit union. 3) Very unhelpful and dismissive when you try to access services. For example, they promise to call you back with an answer to a specific checking dilemma--but they never get back to you. You are left in limbo, forced to follow up on your own (explain everything again) and wait indefinitely in hopes of a response, or take your banking elsewhere (hopefully you use a regular commercial bank too). Overall, many experiences I've had in my decades as a member of Consumers Federal Credit Union has been disappointing and most interactions with them leave me with an unsatisfactory member experience. The commercial bank at which I have a savings and checking account, the staff are polite and helpful --not like Consumers Federal Credit Union. And the commercial bank I also bank with as a backup has never sent or disclosed to other family members in my household my banking records.

  A small bank with very high rates. If you have bad credit and willing to pay the high rates and fees, they will easily give you a loan.

  My experience is that the online Banking system is excellent and is easier to access my account at home or anywhere you go.

  Awesome Credit Union! They helped me purchase my first home with ease. Would definitely recommend to everyone!
