  Making reservations and choosing the house was effortless. There were 2 areas that needed improvement, we arrived after business hours and our packet was not in the outside box as promised. Contractors arrived on 2 separate occasions without notifying us. This made us really uncomfortable letting people into the home. The 2nd time was quite early and we had just gotten out of bed. I feel that the rental company should provide us with a courtesy call.

  The rental house we stayed at, Attitude Adjuster, was very dirty. There was a clump of dirt in the master bedroom and the closet floor was soaking wet.Maintenance brought a box fan but never followed up. The closet smelled terrible so we kept the door closed and didn’t use it. There was a clump of hair in the shower drain and the light fixtures were very dusty. The appliances in the kitchen were dirty and rugs and furniture need to be cleaned. The house in general needs maintenance, a coat of paint would go a long way. I could go on. I noticed there were no reviews for this house and that should have been a clue. This probably won’t get published either.

  Our stay at St George through Collins Vacation Rentals was a great experience. The house on the bay was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and I loved the complementary canvas beach bag. My family enjoyed the rentals available through Explorie Card> What a great perk!

  We have been using Collins since the 80's. Never had a problem with them or the property's we rented. This year however was just the worst! The property was Attitude Adjuster in the Plantation. Our first time to ever rent in the Plantation. The list is to long to put here they are minor things but coupled with the elevator not working. I got stuck on it twice!! The repairman made several visits it was not his fault or Collins for not being able to keep the elevator working properly it is the owners. I am recovering from a lower back injury and really needed the elevator. Major disappointment not to mention the heafty rental fee plus the extra fee for the elevator.

  My experience with Collins is always an A+. They are always helpful and their homes always spotless. If you need maintenance for anything they're right there. The reservation specialists are simply amazing. They know all of the homes well and are so accommodating. I've been renting from them as much as 4 times a year for the last 7 years. No problems whatsoever!

  We have stayed on St George Island many times before. We have always had good experiences. This time though not so much. First They told us they needed more time to clean better because of COVID-19. Well if you call that covid clean you need your head examined. For the 3 hours extra you took it should have been much better. I didn’t feel anything extra was done. Second the pictures shown on the Collins web sight need to be up dated. There is no pool table and there is no hammock. The house needs some TLC. Warning, if you have children keep them away from the upper deck railings. Very shaky handrails. Don’t think it would hold you if you fell into it. The bathrooms are old and need new showers and sinks. Exterior could use freshening up. The pool was nice and the beach , well that’s always great. Our family had a great time anyway. This Bosco Bell rental is not worth the price. Look at others or you might be disappointed.

  We have been coming to St George Island for 40 years. We stayed at Big Blue Sea. It could be a great house but the basement is a health hazard. A health department would close it down. We had trouble with the AC but we got around that. The parking at this house is terrible. Of course we enjoyed being with family. I do want to say that your office was extremely helpful and we appreciate all you did. We will no problem continuing to rent with you.

  I have used Collins Vacation Rentals for last 5 years. They are the best!! So helpful and dont mind to help u at all. While I was at St George Island this year already booked my house for next year.

  Location and view was amazing! Outdated furnishings that were uncomfortable. Dusty rental. The whil6e rental could use a serious deep clean. Deck and boardwalk are old and worn. Wobbly and handrails are loose.

  Wonderful place to stay. Neat compact with all amenities provided. Love the pool but husband fell from one of the sun bleached over-dried pool chairs. There were plenty of other chairs from which to choose he just wasn’t paying close attention. So glad dogs are allowed at our cozy cabana It’s nice when the whole family can stay together. Beach was clean n weather was perfect. Could not have asked for more.
