  Avoid this place. I know you are struggling. It seems like this will help you right now. But remember that this place charges an unbelievable amount of interest on their loans. It is criminal. The payments do not actually go towards the loan unless you pay more. So you might get 500 now, but they will charge you 50 dollars every check without any of that going to the balance unless you pay more. You will be stuck in an endless loop and in a much worse situation than before. Please, please, please, reconsider this and DO NOT do business with this company. You will absolutely regret it.

  German was amazing and friendly. He helped me get The amount of cash that I needed. He made the Process Very quick and bearable I would recommend anyone to go there when you’re in a bind

  Older women with black hair somewhat rude and unprofessional. Fees are extremely high. I have cashed checks at other places and it wasn’t nearly this much. Wouldn’t come here again to cash a check for any reason.

  Not sure why one of the reviewers commented saying that this location is closed because it’s definitely still open (even on Saturdays!). Their hours of op are really convenient especially for those who work a little later in the day than a standard 9-5, so you can still cash a paycheck on a Friday even if you’re unable to get there until 8-9pm at night. Plus the people at the Checksmart on Southern Ave in Tempe are super nice and helpful and the process of cashing a check is quick and easy, not to mention they take an extremely small percentage (which is nothing when you consider the convenience). One time I checked online to see when they closed on a Saturday afternoon and saw they were closing in 2 minutes, I called in and the lady told me she’d stay open an extra 10-15 mins to allow me to make it over there just so I wouldn’t have to wait until Monday to cash my paycheck. If that’s not customer service I don’t know what is! Thanks for the help!

  It seems like every time I come in to make a payment here, there's some sort of problem. Either they can't take my card, or the systems are down, or something else has happened. Most of the staff is vey friendly and helpful (Stephanie is awesome and genuine) but the manager of the location is rude and seems like she always has a really negative attitude. Speaking with her makes me feel like I'm bothering her and I refuse to work with her. When Doris was in charge of the store, I only had good experiences. It seems like the company just wants your money and doesn't even try to be genuine in wanting to help you.

  I went in to get a money order for $600 with my debit card. Tina told me the fees were going to be around $11, which was way higher than any of her associates had ever charged me, but I was in a hurry to drop my rent off. After she charged me the $11 and withdrew $500 from my card I handed her $100 in cash to put on the money order. She than told me she needed $1 from me for the actual money order. I asked if she could just charge my card again for the $1 and she said it was going to be an additional $3 to charge my card. It would have made more since if she had just added that fee when she charged me the first time, or she could have let me know that she had to charge them as 2 separate transactions. $11 for a money order was already ridiculous enough but to pay an extra $4 because she can't so her job correctly? I took my money and went to Walmart (as the girl behind me suggested after hearing Tina's list of fees). They only charge $.70 for a money order and they were much more professional. This definitely is NOT the place or the person to get your money orders from.

  Absolute worst! Unprofessional, rude, and I waited 2 hours for someone to help me that could careless about his job. The manager was not working and had 1 employee on a Saturday afternoon. Employee called the manager 3 times and the manager refused to help. All I was doing was cashng my check. I was not able to cash my check. Then i had angry customers come in . Will not be back. Do not go here. Ever.

  Quick and easy plus you can get a prepaid card set up. The only problem is they run out of money sometimes.

  Terrible service and rates are outrageous. Was given a lame reason as to why they wouldn't cash and insurance check from Chase bank. I almost paid the 500 fee to cash it there too. Never again. They lost out and I actually got it cashed elsewhere for free. Learn your job ladies and why you are there...

  Crazy expensive loans but that's the norm for these pay day loan-type places. The employees (behind the bulletproof glass) are friendly and very helpful, though. They treat you like someone who's paid them a ton of money for their product. (You certainly have but it's sure nice to be treated that way.)
