  Friday, 8/24 I was given a fake $100. I'm currently sitting in the Carl's Junior I tried to spend it at, not knowing it was a fake. Waiting for the police to show up so I can file a report. I called Check City and was told they wouldn't help since I didn't get back to them the same day. Wish I could give them 0 stars but I had to give 1 to put this warning out there.

  The place is called check cashing city, i called and asked do you cash payday checks and they said yes. So i walked in this heat to go cash my check from bank of america and they said they cant cash it. I asked them why and they said they cant disclose the reason. Do you know how fustrating that is and i called just to verify with yaw and yaw turn me down without a reason. Im black and puerto rican btw idk maybe this particular woman hates color idk but thats messed up.

  The girl attending me messed up my account and told me i paid off my loans and she still deposited the check and sent my account to collections! Now they expect me to pay fees for their mistake. They are not doing their job right! And are not fixing their mistake.

  Just called to see if they bought silver. I have 100 oz to sell. I was just told they pay $0.21 an oz. So by their math they would offer $21.00-$1.49(transaction fee) for over $1460.00 in silver. Now that's a ripoff.

  There seems to have been some miscommunication because that information is incorrect. We pay much more than that for silver, come into any of our stores and we'd love to give you a free quote!

  My mother came in to cash a check that she had received from her boss. She had checked online for the price to cash it and it said they would have been 1.99%. When she went in, they told her it would be 5% of her check. They were very rude, ignored her almost the whole time.

  We apologize for the misunderstanding, computerized payroll checks are 1.99%, your Mother must have had a handwritten payroll check which are 5%. We apologize that they misquoted you on the phone and hope to serve you again in the future!
