  The manager was rude, and seemed like valuing my grandmother's jewelry was an inconvenience. I also don't like that they take your gold and silver into a private room to value, and the guy said the price of silver was down when in fact it was up, and the prices per gram they listed in their store didn't match the online stock rate as it should. My general experience with this place is a feeling of robbery. P.S. Even the reply here was rude and condescending, much like the attitude in the store. No wonder the store was empty the entire time we were there.

  Alex- we were very disappointed, and quite frankly surprised, to see that you felt you had a negative experience at our store. When you and your mother were here you gave zero indication that there were any issues. I see that all of the reviews you have ever given on Google are negative, but I’m sure that’s just a coincidence. Nevertheless, please allow me to address some of the misunderstandings and inaccuracies in your review. First, if you felt we were rude, I humbly apologize. We do try our best to treat everyone that comes in kindly and with the utmost respect. If I inadvertently showed any annoyance when you handed me a giant tangled pile of costume jewelry, some of which was clearly made of things like plastic, puka and other non-metals (even after your mother told you most of it was not gold/silver but you felt you knew better), then I apologize. That one is on me and I own it. To your next grievance, we are primarily a check cashing business that also buys gold, silver, gift cards, etc. We have limited space up front (as you saw) that is dedicated to our primary function here, which is cashing checks, issuing money orders, etc. You may not be aware, but testing gold and silver requires the use of caustic acids that literally burn through human skin. Those same acids can damage expensive computer equipment, counter tops, etc. It is faster and easier to examine things in our back room. We merely sort through the items and test the ones that we believe to be gold or silver. The items that are not gold and silver are returned to you and we make you an offer on the remaining items that are of any value. Next, no one told you that the “price of silver was down.” That is simply not true. What I told you was that silver is not worth much. I routinely tell customers they are probably better off keeping their silver jewelry as the amount they would receive for it is probably not worth giving it up. The price of gold is, as of this writing, more than 66 times the price of silver. This brings me to your comments about our prices and sign. First, our gold prices are listed in pennyweight, not grams. Our silver prices are listed in troy ounces, not grams. These are both the industry standard. Secondly, the prices listed on our sign are the prices that we are offering at that moment for 10kt, 14kt and silver, as is required by law. You do understand that every business and individual that buys gold and silver chooses their own price, correct? No one pays market prices. We are a business and we have to make a profit. If we, or anyone else, paid market price then we would go out of business fairly quickly. Also, no one displays the “online stock rate” (as you called it) and they certainly do not pay it. We have to be able to make a profit off the gold and silver we buy, and the individual/company that buys from us also has to be able to make a profit. That’s how business works. I am truly befuddled that you felt “robbed.” Even your mother told you it was a good offer and to take it. I also paid you well above what was listed on our sign that day. But, for future reference, when selling something you should understand that you are not required to accept what is offered to you. You were more than capable of refusing our offer and even making a counter offer. No one held a gun to your head. In closing, I hope I was able to address at least some of your concerns. As you can see by our other customer reviews, we normally offer exceptional service here. We have many customers who regularly sell us gold and silver as we offer very competitive prices. Thank you.

  The staff was fantastic! My id expired 10 days prior and the bank refused to accept it as well as several other check cashing places. The guys here were very helpful and agreed to cash the check for me. You guys are lifesavers. Would have given more stars if it was an option!

  Okay first give a call just in case! My license didn't come in and has been already 2 weeks i still didnt get it...no license , as long as you bring proof that it is you I've been every where in such a pinch and worried however no mas.....Thank you so much !!!

  Arrived at 5:45 on a Friday and the doors were locked with all the lights on. I called the store 3 times, no answer. On the 3rd attempt I left a message. Hours state on door Open to 6:30 on Fridays. No Holiday or other hours posted anywhere. This is very upsetting.

  I have been going to Cash Out since they first opened . I have to say the custome service is bar none . The owner and the Manger are both down to earth, and a pleasure to deal with.
