  The only reason I didn't give the fifth star is their prices are a little bit higher than most other shops. The main thing that I go pawn shop hunting for is DVDs and there's are twice the price of most other pawn shops in town. But their customer service is superior to most other shops I've ever been to. I recently purchased a Smart Blu-Ray player from the shop and after taking it home within about 24 hours it started to malfunction. I was able to capture the malfunction on video with my phone and brought it back to the store. The manager on duty swapped it out with a player that was slightly better than the one I had originally purchased without any grief or fuss at all. I will continue to shop at this pawn shop knowing that they will stand behind what they sell.

  Was a great store even just seeing it from the outside. Went in was welcomed by a staff who seemed to enjoy their jobs they were amazing helping me and it’s really awesome to see that the owners were as hands on as any other employee. Hands down my favorite pawn shop I’ve been to in this part of Texas.

  Best firearm transfer I’ve ever had, they made it super easy for me! If you are needing to transfer or even looking for a gun this is the place to go!

  Always go here when needing to make ends meet. Very friendly staff and they create friendships with you. Can joke and laugh with them which makes things so much easier. Their stuff is always kept clean and orderly. I definetly recommend this shop to any and everyone

  Would 10000000% recommend. I went in there & bothered them for the last 3 days about a dang projector & I finally bought it today. Works amazingly & they were so helpful.

  I 've gone to other pawn shops. They are just not the same as Cash Box pawn. The staff has such great customer service. Been going for over 5yrs. same great experience as always. both locations.

  This pawn and gun shop is the most versatile one I've seen. They also have a ton of electronics, jewelry, DVD's, instruments and more. Travis & Ben were very friendly on each of my visits.

  We've been going here for a while whenever money's gotten a little tight or when we're looking for used tools or movies or whatever, the employees are friendly, great customer service, they really try hard to give you top dollar for things you're trying to pawn and/or sell. I wouldn't recommend any other pawn shop in San Marcos if you're in need of a pawn shop.
