  I don't know what's up with banks here in Monterey Park. This is 2nd bank horror story. Helping my mom(customer before Calif Bank bought out Sumitomo Bank, over 40 years total) with financial planning. Repeatedly tried to let branch manager and other officers what was going to happen by shifting $$$,$$$. None-the-less mom kept getting calls from the bank about suspicious transactions. Then, BOOM, California Bank calls Monterey Police and scared the hell outta my mom. What kind of customer service is that? Looks like they were more concerned about "their money" than a long time customer. Terrible Mormon bankers.

  Super friendly staff and they really seem to care about your day which is super rare into days works of shrinking branches and replacing tellers with giant ATM machines. Also love that they remember my name every time.
