  My experience with caliber was terrible. I was preapproved for a loan for a house we had made an offer and was accepted by seller. Loan officer said I needed to get an appraisal which we did. Did everything I was asked to do then was asked to do amended tax return which I agreed I would do then I was told since underwriters looked at my 2017 return they would not look at amended return. I asked the loan officer if underwriters had masters degree because most people with masters degrees I ever met never had any common sense. I would never recommend caliber to anyone and I’m around money people at my job everyday. Underwriters need to look at definition of common sense

  I don't see your application in our database. Did you work with a loan officer in our Knoxville Branch? Caliber normally closes all of our pre-approved borrowers unless you provided documentation that didn't match the answers to our questions while taking your information.

  HOME BUYER BEWARE! These people drag their feet and point the finger at everyone else. Terrible communication and no professionalism. When the "recession" hits, these people have no chance of survival.
