  Best experience I have had purchasing a home! Extremely quick and efficient communication! Really liked how I could upload documents online and see the checklist as I added documents. Very knowledgeable people to work with. Will definitely use Box Home Loans for my next property purchase! Recommend 100% with no reservations!

  Weird experience. I called today to get information about a loan. Talked to a Jeff or Josh who was very rude. There was water running in the background (I hope) throughout our brief conversation as well as cats meowing loudly. He refused to answer my questions about comparing rates and told me impatiently to look at the website. When I asked him if it was true that a VA loan can provide more cash out than conventional he said impatiently said he didn't know (?!). Literally the only thing he did was advise me that there is a website-- he couldn't get rid of me fast enough. If he was occupied, he should not have answered the phone. Surprisingly unprofessional.

  I had a great experience with Box Home Loans. Their service can be drilled down to several different areas: A). The people were fantastic. I had the pleasure of working with Alicia and Shelley. They kept me informed on the process and they were quite responsive to my questions over the phone or through email. We had one little hiccup and they ran straight towards the problem and had it solved for me same day. These two ladies were amazing. B). Their website is awesome! When you begin the loan process, you get an ID and when you access your loan online, you get a visual representation of where you are in the process. It would literally say, "62% complete". And there is a list of docs you need to submit. Everything can be submitted online. Ridiculously simple. This isn't your parent's mortgage! C). Last and certainly not least, the price. I shopped around and Box gave me the best bang for my buck. I know many shoppers are price conscious, and if so, Box is the place to be. Overall, a phenomenal experience!

  Did a refinance with Box a few years ago and it was a great experience. Not so this time. I completed all the documentation. Right before the lock expiration I was informed they were not able to get an appraisal scheduled and as a result I would have to pay $500 lock extension or wait 30 days and apply again. Went to Quicken loans. When we encountered problems getting the appraisal scheduled before expiration, Quicken acknowledged this was a common situation and provided a FREE lock extension. Also had trouble getting Box Home Loans to return phone calls.

  Overall we had a good mortgage experiene with Box. They give you plenty of information about where you are in the process and what you can expect to pay. The team was very flexible and responsive with me about choosing the right program and rate for my needs. Communication was mostly good, although I did have a few calls and emails that were not returned. It was a bit of a rush to get everything finished and ready to close, which is surprising since we were under contract for 3 months before we closed and I sent them everything they requested almost immediately. I was still uploading last-minute documents they didn't know they needed a day or two before closing. Some estimates also changed a lot at the last minute, but I guess that is the nature of the business. Overall, a good experience. Although I'm not too happy about all the junk mail I'm getting now about mortgage insurance and other services from Box.

  Recently used Box for a re-if. They provided a better rate and terms than I could get, even with my original lender. Our loan wasn’t just straightforward and they worked with us to make it work. The final steps should have been smoother, but it all worked out and I’m happy with the result.

  I've used Box Home Loans for several refinances over the years. They are always smooth and streamlined. I love that it's super easy to get an accurate quote without providing personal info. Their fees are also most competitive!

  Box home loans was the most transparent mortgage company I've ever worked with. We closed the loan in just two weeks and the David and Hanna were extremely helpful, and were quick to respond to any of my question. But, most importantly, I saved over $1000 dollar on closing costs compared to everyone else.

  Several years ago I refinanced with Box and had an excellent experience. So when buying a new house this year it was logical to use them again. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience. Communication with the loan officer was incredibly poor. He'd never call me back and seemed to care little about my needs. The loan processor was fantastic - but was often blocked by the lack of action on the officer's part. I'd put some long thought into using them again.
