  I recently refinanced my home through First Colony. I worked with T.J. Shelley directly. The process was swift and easy. T.J. was always available to answer any questions I had and quickly responded to emails. When I first purchased my home as a first time buyer several years ago I had also gone through First Colony. They even found a discount for my rate and some extra bonuses due to my credit. I definitely felt that they were looking out for my best interests and was very happy with the end-to-end experience.

  I loved my experience with First Colony. It was all done remotely and electronically until the final signing of the documents. I simply uploaded all my personal documents as PDFs to their secure website. And their secure site lists exactly what you need to provide. It was so simple and easy. They also keep you informed of the progress of your loan and send you quick videos that you can watch that tells you what is happening next. The most important thing was that I wasn't surprised by any hidden fees or "gotchas" during or at the end of the process. They were completely up front and open about it all. It was a very pleasant and stress-free experience. I highly recommend First Colony Mortgage!
