The customer service is horrible. Each time I come in to make a simple deposit, I have to wait more than 20 to 30 min in a line as only one teller is available to assist. I don’t know why anyone would bank at BOA as it is the same in all locations.

      Response from the owner

Hi Kushal. We appreciate you coming in. You may be able to save time by using an ATM or our mobile app. Signing up is simple: https://www.bankofamerica.com/online-banking/mobile-and-online-banking-features/overview/. ^ines

This woman Patricia there flat out refused to help us. I recently got an email from this location saying to "stop by anytime". We stopped in to get a rollover form notarized and Patricia refused to help us even though she is the notary and was not doing anything and had nothing to do except help customers like us. Here we were trying to give this bank more money by rolling an investment account over to them and Patricia couldn't be bothered to do her job and help us. When we stated that we needed to have a form notarized, she got really haughty and said that we did not have an appointment. Like I said, we got an email saying "feel free to stop by anytime". We had already been there for a few minutes and I asked why she couldn't help us and she said she had an appointment at 12:00. I looked at my phone and it said 11:46. I mentioned that there was nearly 15 minutes until her appointment but she still refused to help us. We wasted a bunch of time driving to the other Round Rock location and walked in and they helped us immediately and we were literally out the door with the notarized document in less that 5 minutes. I can see why the employees at this location don't feel the need to do their jobs - there is zilch for accountability. There is nobody to call, nobody to complain to and seemingly nobody who will manage lazy employees like this.

No notary so I ended up having to go somewhere where I had to pay for notary services when it’s supposed to be included in having an account with them. BOA unfortunately has gotten so bad these past few years. I’m really considering switching. Between the overdraft fees for going over $5 is ridiculous. They are greedy and don’t care about their customers anymore.

      Response from the owner

Notary services are available at some financial centers and are provided to Bank of America customers at no charge for bank-related documents. Please contact your financial center in advance or schedule an appointment to ensure notary services are available at your center. I've been trying to deposit some cash at this bank for about 3 days now. Every time I go to the drive through, the commercial lane is open and one non-commercial lane is open, and there are multiple cars in each line. Today I waited for 15 minutes, there was 1 car in front of me being taken care of, and one car behind me. 15 minutes later, the car in front of me finished what they were there to do. Then I pulled up and pressed the call button. No response after 5 minutes, so I left. I could only see one guy in there working, and he was helping a customer that was inside the bank. I made it to work a few minutes later, and looked up the bank's number and called them. It rang and rang and then let me go back to the main menu. I did this 4 times and was never able to speak to someone. I think I'll close my account later today. When they see how much I am pulling out and that I'm pulling it out because this location closest to me sucks, someone is going to be crying, and it wont be me!

Saw such bad reviews and have no idea where they are coming from. I opened a checking account earlier in the week and forgot to get a temporary card. Went to this location (as it was closer to me while running errands) and David was extremely personable, helpful, and gave me great advice for building good credit and have a positive relationship with BOA. Him and the team of people were all extremely nice. It was so refreshing during this pandemic and I will definitely be driving out of my way to come here again.

This review is not just for this location but BOA ( bank of america) in general. I have been a BOA customer for about 20 years therefore I started here when looking to refinance a mortgage. I started the online application but hit a road block when entering my wife's information. Due to the fact she is an immigrant you cannot complete the application online. I scheduled an appointment to meet with their local mortgage loan specialist. The reprasentative canceled our meeting the day of after waiting 2 weeks due to an alleged covid-19 exposure. He directed me to just do another online application but not to enter my wife's info ???? No, not an option. I tried calling customer support and they told me a cash out refinance loan was not applicable as a different bank holds my current mortgage. My wife and I have excellent credit and a good debt/income ratio therefore qualifying for this loan and the other mortgage I wanted to apply for would be no issue. Unfortunately due to the corporate policy regarding cash out refinance loans and their lack of customer support or service I will be closing ALL my BOA accounts and moving to another institution.

I would give no stars if that was even possible. I have been a BOA customer since 2010, and I have visited locations across Texas, and this location is by far the worst. I brought my husband to establish an account, and we walk into this location, and there are all the sales people on their phones grouped together in the lobby. Not one person greets us as we walk in, not the sales people, not the tellers, no one. My husband and I speak to the teller about bonds that he is hoping to cash and to open a BOA account, since I had spoken highly of my experience with BOA. The teller was extremely ugly to my husband, and then asked for the manager to come over. The manager was also extremely rude and said "well, we can't cash these, you don't have an account, we can set one up, I guess, but we still wont cash them for 3 days". If this is the policy at the bank, she could have explained it to us nicely, and we would have come back later. She was so extremely rude that we walked right out and he now has an account with Frost. What is specifically frustrating to me is that there was not a single person inside the bank who needed assistance except for us, they were not busy, they were not trying to serve a lot of people at once, why were we treated so poorly? I am considering moving to Frost bank as well. One thing is for certain, I will never go back to that branch, and I will limit my interaction with other BOA branches in the future.

Patricia was compassionate and efficient in helping me today. I was in and out in half an hour, which was faster than it would have been for me reading documents and applying online. This location was clean, everyone was wearing masks, and there were Plexiglass/plastic guards between the staff and customers. All signage was available in English and Spanish and the staff was bilingual. Thank you, Patricia!

      Response from the owner

Hi, Navina. Thanks for letting us know how helpful Patricia was during your financial center visit. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well. ^alma

I scheduled an appointment concerning my bank account balance. When I arrived I was just given anyone to help me, I didn’t get help from who I requested in my appointment. I was helped by a new guy who seemed to not know much, concerning this big problem with my account . He asked me questions then left to ask someone else for the answers . I don’t think this location is really professional at all. I did not feel like my questions about my concerns concerning my account was taken seriously and was felt like I was denied help. If you had an fraudulent transaction more than once, you don’t get your money back fully that’s an issue . I was told since this wasn’t in my transaction history we don’t believe you was charged but I know how much money I had in my account and all of it is not in there .... I was assured again that I wasn’t charged but the representative I talked to on the phone told me different and my online banking showed that I had been charged twice . I will no longer come to this branch. I like Bank of America but I believe it’s the branch I went to that I will not be returning to . This branch needs work .

I waited for about 30 minutes, the line was nearly out the door and they had a single teller moving at the pace of a sloth.
