  I was interested in purchasing a Ring an Employee named Pamela posted on offer up so i texted her asking if it was available and she read my message but never responded. I called the next day to find out what size the ring was and a different employee answered the phone and said Pamela was in the restroom and she’ll text me the size on offerup. I then Texted Pamela asking her what size the ring was so that she knew who to text back and once again she read my message but didn’t respond. She’s really unprofessional and rude. I ended up going all the way to round rock (an hour away) to see the ring in person and this kind gentleman helped me out as soon as i entered the store and Pamela stood in the back not saying a single word. She didn’t greet me or anything like the other two gentlemen in the store. 1 star for Pamela & 5 stars to those two gentleman! Thank you!

  I have a S&W M&P Shield 380 EZ 2.0. I took it to this location to try and see how much they could give me for it. The lady said, "I can only do $250". Ultimately, my goals were to see if I could get my gun for about the same or maybe even a little more than another gun they had there (S&W M&P SHIELD 9). As soon as she told me how much she would give me for my gun, I turned to see the price on the 9mm to see if I was even close to the price, and they have this gun priced at $550 more or less. I asked why was that specific firearm so expensive, and her response was, "we get them straight from the manufacturer". So I began to do some investigation and Smith and Wesson has this firearm listed on their website at $349. I began to ask her why it was more expensive than Smith and Wesson, if Smith and Wesson was selling it for lower than they were. She then proceeded to try and be correct by telling me, "well Cabela's is selling this exact same one for $650" which are lies because I looked and they were selling the exact firearm and $399. And on top of all this, she was rude. Did not want me holding the gun I was planning on getting. I don't know her name was because after this went down, I left in frustration. But she was an older lady with glasses and grey-ish hair. The gentleman that answered the phone though was very polite. Wish I could have worked with him instead.

  We had a wonderful experience. The staff is knowledgeable, and super friendly. Ray was extremely helpful and generous with his subject matter expert info! Janelle was super helpful as well. They don't make you wait around too long like some other places. Eager to help! Nice place to get 2nd hand goods!

  The pawn shop has pretty nice people but the jewelers are questionable. Had a ring made here and specifically told them I wanted it stamped with the “14k”. Payed for it and got my ring back with no stamp. Then they tell me one of the markings on the scrap gold pieces that I brought them was questionable. Why not call me before they made it to tell me they couldn’t stamp it. Been wanting to make this post for years but finally found the patience and time to write a review. -Slightly satisfied customer

  These guys are awesome, what people say in the reviews are true they are really nice and honest. They even went as far as to refer another pawn shop where I could get more money for my item, who does that nowadays? I was so impressed that I stuck with them. No one in the store was intimidating or tried shady bargaing tricks to make you lower your price. They were all professional and very laidback, made it really fun. I definitely recommend these guys and will be going back to them again.

  Sold an A/C unit. Caleb was awesome and very personable. He told me about the custom jewelry made there. I also had a few questions about layaway that he answered professionally. The store is very clean and organized. Thank you Action Pawn and Caleb!

  I understand you don’t get retail for stuff you bring in, I expected to get less than what I wanted for what I brought in. But when I caught an employee in a lie trying to show me a comparison on eBay of something that wasn’t even what I had, he tried to offer me a ridiculous number. I worked in a pawnshop before and I work in retail now, I expected less than half of what my items were worth, not 3%! When I called him out on his lie, he became embarrassed and had no answers for me. I asked for the manager and all he did was tell me to leave the store and when I asked him to give me an explanation of why I was lied too, he got rude and kicked me out of the store. Just remember, you reap what you sew!
