L E5They are always helpful & available 24/7. They helped me navigate a very frustrating situation caused by another bank and I'm forever grateful for that. The teller at the Round Rock branch in Texas was so nice today and my transaction was really quick.

T Elaine Dwigans1My big brother has been a member here for decades. He recently had to have emergency surgery & was hospitalized for several weeks. Through no fault of his own Navy Federal refused to honor checks he'd signed in the hospital. We called a traveling notary public to come to hospital and notarize his POA. I took this to the Round Rock branch (because he had called the toll free # to no avail) I spent 4.5 hours here, most with a very pleasant branch manager. She took all the forms, submitted them along with online bill pay access and one other form. I'd explained the returned check situation flashed a big check my brother had sent to deposit, & open an IRA. After another hour spent at a cashier's window getting cashiers checks for the refused checks and opening a savings account. I sat with another lady who I thought was going to help me invest his money. She assured me that IRA's could be done online and automatic bill pays set up also. WRONG. Because the notary signed the form in wrong place 5 days later, I was notified by email, and had to wait another 90 minutes on hold to learn this from NFCU. He came home a week ago and we had another notary out. I faxed the papers al9ng along with a cover sheet, but still NFCU still won't unlock his mobile app! They actually refused a cashier's check payment. The odd thing I found was that YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO WAY TO CONTACT NFCU via phone or email.. IThey were glad to keep the money I deposited for him, but no one can answer the phone. I have call logs showing nearly 70 hours spent on hold (mostly 10% speaking) in February alone. I would not do my banking this way.

Ethan Barbarick1They put holds for 7 days on civilion checks for no reason. So once your out no reason to keep using them. They used to be the greatest bank but they have failed the veterans and the dependents. I would much rather bank with someone who's customer service was at least sub par. They are below that

Aaron O'Neill1I’ve had zero issues with Navyfcu in the 12+ Years I’ve been a member until I started coming to the round rock branch. The branch manager is very rude, unhelpful, and generally does not seem to care. She brushed me off initially and then let me sit in her waiting area for over an hour knowing full well the branch was not going to be able to solve my problem. I have rarely felt less cared about as a customer until my interaction with her/with this bank.

Alicia Pearson1Terrible customer service. I drove 30 minutes in 95° heat and they wouldn't give me my check bc my ID was expired. Even though it's obviously me. Even though I had a picture, front and back, of my updated ID on my phone. Waste of time and money and effort.

Jailene Burciaga5Been going to this branch for a year now and the staff is always super helpful! Trish is literally a blessing in disguise and was able to help me out with my auto loan. She is very sweet and very attentive! 😁

Frank Castro1Made a mobile deposit like I’ve made to two other banks that I’ve had with no problem and Navy Federal Credit Union wants a special words at the bottom of their checks to do a mobile deposit. I think Navy Federal Credit Union still thinks we’re in the military. They have a copy of a check they have my signature on it and it says for deposit only with my account number on it why could it not be deposited beyond me. Way to go Navy Federal Credit Union make us feel like we’re really in the military again. I thought you’re supposed to make things easier for us out here.

Samuel Santos1Someone fraudulently applied for credit at NFCU using my information. I called them as soon as Credit Karma gave me information. It took 10 minutes to pick up after telling the automated system I was calling about fraud. They then rerouted my call to another department and I wanted another 40 minutes for someone to pick up. Someone named Darlene picked up. As soon as I told them I was calling to report fraud, she immediately hung up the phone. This makes me feel that they’re intentionally encouraging or turning a blind eye to fraud. I need someone to contact me ASAP.

C S4I have an update. I think fraud protection works well but it takes some time for the department to research each case. I wasn’t happy that fraud happened to my account but I have to say the way they handle it here is bar none. I won’t be switching back to chase. I get far better customer service every time I come here than any where else so I truly can’t complain on them. Thanks, Navy.
